Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent failure of a driving mechanism part by forming the titled device into such mechanism in which a dummy bar guide is provided on the upper stream side of a hook for winding a dummy bar and the guide body is projected upward from below a roll top by the revolution of a cam. CONSTITUTION:When the tail part of a dummy bar 3 moves a detecting roller 6 after casting is started, a striker 23 contacts with the arm of a limit switch 25 and a hook 2 moves upward. The hook 2 engages with a pin 3A and a dummy bar 3 is wound up. A motor cylinder 14 is then actuated and a pinion 11 is revolved via a rack 12. The projecting part of a cam 7A is disengaged from a guide body 7B and since the guide body 7B and the roller 6 move both downward below the roll top, the billet does not collide against the same. Even if the dummy bar 3 hunts and collides against the body 7B, the body 7B is placed on the cam 7A and therefore no impact force is transmitted to the driving part. The failure thereof is thus prevented.

結されているため、タミーバの蛇行が予想以上に大きく
て、1記夕三−バガイドに衝突した場合には、F記駆動
機構部まで破損させてしまい、被害が大きいという欠点
がある。また従来では、タミーバガイドを鋳片搬送経路
を構成する0−ルの0−ル天の下方からそのE方へ突出
させるのに、そのタミーバガイドを揺動させる構成をと
っているため、駆動機a部の構造が複雑となり、コスト
アップにつながるという欠点がある。
