DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In recent years, unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid have been in the spotlight as they have been recognized to function as substances that lower blood cholesterol levels, prevent arteriosclerosis, and prevent blood clots.

Among various unsaturated fatty acids, eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexanoic acid, which are found in fish and the like, have a high degree of unsaturation and are attracting attention as they strongly exhibit the above-mentioned functions. However, this marine animal lipid concentrate with a high content of eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, which is concentrated and separated from fish oil, has a unique odor originating from the raw material, such as fish, so it is difficult to drink it as it is. It was enough to cause nausea, and even when encapsulated, the odor sometimes returned from the inside, causing discomfort to the drinker. In order to popularize this marine animal lipid concentrate, which is excellent in terms of health, the present invention investigated various means for removing this unpleasant odor, and as a result, it was discovered that lime flavor effectively eliminates this unpleasant odor. As a result, the present invention was completed.

That is, the present invention relates to a marine animal lipid concentrate characterized by containing lime flavor in a marine animal lipid condensate with an increased content of eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexanoic acid. Marine animal lipid concentrates enriched with eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid are obtained from marine animals.

Marine animals are not limited to fish, but those with a high content of eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid are preferred;
Sword fish, sardine, horse mackerel, whale, seal, etc. are suitable. The method for increasing the content of eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid from these marine animal lipids is not particularly limited, and may be carried out by a solvent fractionation method or the like. The content of eicosabentaenoic acid and docosahexanoic acid in marine animal lipid concentrates depends on the type of marine animal lipid used as the raw material.
For example, in the case of fins and swordfish, the sum of the two is usually 15
% or more, and is often about 25 to 40%. The lime flavor may be added in the form of lime oil, but may also be in the form of lime essence, or may be added with a synthetic flavoring agent. The amount to be added is just as long as it eliminates the unpleasant odor contained in the marine animal lipid concentrate.
Therefore, it is sufficient to conduct a test in advance for each marine animal lipid concentrate and determine the concentration. In the case of lime oil, it is appropriate to concentrate it at a concentration of about 1 to 10%, usually about 3 to 6%. There is no special feature in the addition method; usually, a predetermined amount of lime flavor is added to the concentrate and mixed uniformly.

In addition, it can be added to salad oil, margarine, dressing, etc. to produce products. The marine animal lipid concentrate of the present invention does not have unpleasant odors characteristic of marine animal fats and oils such as fishy or fishy odor, and on the contrary, has a slightly refreshing aroma.
It is extremely suitable as a drinking product.

On the other hand, when a capsule prepared in the same manner without the addition of lime oil was chewed in the mouth and swallowed, an unpleasant odor remained for a long time. I felt like I was vomiting. Example 2 Lime oil or lime oil was added to a marine animal lipid concentrate containing 25% eicosabentaenoic acid and 7% docosahexaenoic acid obtained by concentrating a mixed oil of sardine oil and mackerel oil using a solvent fractionation method. Additions were made in the proportions shown in the table.
