ーサを分散し更にプレス板を用いて2枚の薄いプラスチ
ックフィルム基板の両面からプレスする工程が必要であ

ィルム基板間のシール材の硬化を行なう為に加熱を行な
うと、プラスチックフィルム基板の熱膨張の為にプラス
チックフィルム基板とガラス基板との間の密着部分と密
着していない部分との間にストレスがかかった。そして
その結果プラスチックフィルム基板にカール、うねシが
生じたシ、プラスチックフィルム基板自体に異常な光学
異方性が発生し、その為液晶表示素子において表示不良

加熱を行なってもプラスチックフィルム基板1,1内に
部分的なストレスがかからない。従ってプラスチックフ
ィルム基板1,1にカール、うねシが生じたシ、異常な
光学異方性が発生することが無い。その為良好な表示品
