    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンから吐出口までの排気系全長をLとみて上記エ
    ンジンから約315Lの位置にマフラの最初の消音要素
    を配設するとともに、上記マフラ内部に、上記エンジン
    から約475Lの位置で消音作用を行う共鳴要素を設け
    、かつこの共鳴要素の共振周波数を、f=正(cは音速
    )としたことを特徴とする自動車用エンジンの排気装置
