Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply form a mark having excellent design effect to an arbitrary place without using a clamp, by coating the surface of an article to be coated such as a car body with a photosensitive resin paint and exposing the coated surface only at a desired shape part to cure the same. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin paint 2 prepared by compounding pigment with an ultraviolet curable liquid photosensitive resin is applied to the outer panel 1 of a car body in a thickness of about 50mum. Next, a masking material 3, which is formed by embedding an electromagnet 4 in a synthetic resin rich in mold release property and having flexibility such as polytetrafluoroethylene and further providing a car name to said synthetic resin by punching, is placed on the paint layer 2. Subsequently, the paint layer is irradiated with light from above through said masking material 3 by using, for example, an 80W/cm ozoneless type light scattering type high pressure mercury lamp to cure the non-masking part. Thereafter, the masking material is removed and the uncured part is washed off, for example, by a solution mixture of ethanol/water. By this method, a relief image mark having three-dimensional feeling is formed.

That is, it is necessary to make holes in the vehicle body in order to assemble it to the vehicle body using fasteners such as plate-shaped clips, screws, and bolts. Furthermore, since the shapes of marks and the fixing positions of fasteners differ depending on the car model grade, it is necessary to prepare a wide variety of press dies, jigs, and tools for making holes. On the other hand, marks that are affixed to the vehicle body using an adhesive or adhesive must have a shape that matches the curved shape of the vehicle body, and as a result, the shape of the marks is also restricted and cannot be freely designed.

(Structure of the Invention) That is, the mark forming method of the present invention involves coating the surface of an object with ultraviolet light, and then exposing and curing only the desired shape portion.
The present invention is characterized in that marks are formed on the surface of the object to be coated, protruding from the surface in an embossed pattern.

A certain degree of thickness is necessary to give the mark a three-dimensional effect, but on the other hand, if it is too thick, it will easily peel off and it will be difficult to form, so the average thickness of the mark should be about 3 to 3 inches. 50 μm 1 preferably about 1 m to about 50 μm.

The method for forming a mark of a desired shape on a gold coated object is as follows:
For example, a photosensitive resin coating of a desired thickness is formed in advance on the object to be coated by a method such as spraying, a suitable masking material cut out in the desired shape is placed on top of the photosensitive resin coating, and a suitable light source is used. An example of a method is to expose to light and cure, and then dissolve and remove all uncured parts using a solvent.

Another method is to apply the photosensitive resin to the specified thickness using screen printing, or cut out a suitable masking material in the desired shape and inlay a transparent film on the entire surface to form a female shape of the mark. After making and filling the marked part with photosensitive resin paint, it is pressed onto the object to be coated, and then the original is applied from above the female mold to harden the marked part.

The masking material and the female mold can be made of non-adhesive material such as Teflon, or the surface can be coated with a mold release agent. For fixing, it is convenient to use adhesive tape or, if the object to be coated is an iron plate, to use a magnet.

.. A photosensitive resin paint 2 containing 1% by weight was applied to a thickness of about 50 μm, and then an electromagnet 4 (or permanent magnet) was applied to a synthetic resin such as tetrafluoroethylene, which has excellent mold releasability and flexibility. A masking material 3 with the car name, grade name, etc. punched out was placed on top of the masking material 3 from a distance of about 15 to 30 crn using an 80 W/crl I ozone-less type diffused high pressure mercury lamp. The non-masking areas were cured by irradiation for seconds. Then, 3 coats of masking material were removed, and an alcohol concentration of 30 to 100 Vo was applied.
The uncured parts were removed by washing with a 1% ethanol/water mixture. This made it possible to form a relief image mark with a three-dimensional effect.

This mark formation can be performed either before or after painting the automobile body, and can be used depending on the required design. If you want to obtain a mark with a thickness of 50μ or more, use the above-mentioned photosensitive resin without pigments.
Apply the oil to the required thickness and cure it by irradiating it for about 2 to 5 seconds from a distance of about 15 to 30 cnI using an 80W/6N ozone-less type diffused high-pressure mercury lamp.
.. By fully coating the photosensitive resin in an amount of 1% by weight or less and curing it by irradiating it with the mercury lamp mentioned above for about 2 to 5 seconds, it is possible to form a highly designed mark with a three-dimensional effect.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the mark forming method of the present invention uses photosensitive resin paint to directly form marks with a three-dimensional effect on the surface of the object to be coated, such as an automobile body. To completely improve the appearance of products such as automobiles by freely installing marks with excellent design without being affected by In addition, press molds, jigs, tools, and mark molds to make all the holes necessary for the base that is fixed to the vehicle body etc. using pre-formed marks are no longer required as in the past. Equipment costs can be reduced.
