Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は溶接領域内の導電材と、熱供給とその後の冷却
により封止可能な材料とを構成要素とする誘導溶接装置
に関する。前記材料は溶接により相互接続される二面の
少くとも一方の上に与えられる。より詳細には本発明は
例えば装置内のループや直線導体等の導電体を流れる高
周波電流により生成さりる磁界や磁気流の修正装置を有
する装置に関する。前記磁界修正装置は基本的には熱エ
ネル7ギを供給すべきでない被溶接体の領域を遮へいす
る形式のものであり、溶接領域には修正磁界により行わ
れる電気誘導により熱エネルギが妨げられずに発生する
〔従来の技術〕
本発明の基本的問題は高周波磁界を修正しエネルギの観
点から有効で且つ良く定義された方法で′遮へい″領域
を定義する構成を提供することである。さらに本構成は
製造及び取扱いが容易でなければならない。
従来高周波誘導溶接では″゛溶接インダクタ″からの磁
界を溶接領域へ向けて指向させ他の領域を電流を生じる
磁界からいわば遮へいする必要性が認識されていた。
既知の方法では例えば銅等の導電材の短絡ループを磁界
から遮へいすべき領域の周りに配置する。
磁界/磁気流はループ内に電流を誘起しこの電流は反作
用磁気流を生じ、“遮へい″領域の正味の磁気流が低減
されることを意味する。しかしながら本方法はループの
誘起電流によりループに大きな熱消散が生じることを意
味する。熱消散は生産速度で溶接具を作動させるのに相
当の冷却を必要とする程である。このような冷却は損失
“を意味し実質的に効率を低下させる。
もう一つの方法では例えば軟鉄等の高透磁率を有する強
い磁性材を溶接領域に隣接配置して高透磁率材料内の磁
気流を既知の方法で“集める′°。
この原理は例えば電力変圧器等の低周波応用から取り出
されており、全ての利点を保持したまま高周波応用に完
全に使用できるという特徴はない。
この特定応用において“高周波″とは少くともK1−1
2.通常10〜50 K Hz程度の周波数を意味する
。特に溶接領域の導電材の小さな貫通深さを狙う場合に
より高い周波数も使用できる。しかしながら小さな貫通
深さにエネルギを゛集中″させると材料を焼き通すこと
がある。非常に高い周波数では誘導現象も最終結果に寄
与する。
本発明は既知の誘導溶接法の代替策を提供する。
本発明の構成により一驚くべきことに一既知の装置の欠
点が著しく顕著に解演されしかも極めて製造性が良く取
扱いが容易である。
本発明に従った装置は磁界を生成して溶接域に指向させ
るある構成の導電材を有している。本装置は非導電材の
支持基盤に分布された導電性の本質的に非磁性粒子から
なる磁界修正層を特徴としている。
好ましくは導電構成はループからなり、ループ内側の所
定領域を遮へいする修正層がループ内側に配置されてい
る。
好ましくは支持基盤は例えばエポキシ樹脂等の可塑性部
材で出来ている。
基盤内の粒子量は実際の応用に応じて変動するが、好ま
しくは粒子は基盤内に50重量%程度の量まで存在する
粒子サイズも変動するが、−例としておよそ1μから数
10μまでのサイズの粒子をあげることができる。
粒子は銅ダスト、カーボンブラックもしくは他の導電材
とするのが有利である。
(実施例) 基本的に溶接手段は磁界を発生する溶接誘導子として作
用する略円型の閉じた形状の導電体11を具備する。溶
接導体11は好ましくは可塑性材料、例えばエポキシ樹
脂の本体12内に全部もしくは一部埋設されている。ル
ープの境界縁内には数mmの範囲内の深さまで凹部13
が形成され、本体12の円錐接合部14から数m1ll
の距離に半径方向外縁を有している。
凹部13内には支持基盤16及びその中に支持された粒
子17からなる本体15が配置されている。支持基盤は
非導電性であり好ましくは例えばエポキシ樹脂等の可塑
材でできている。粒子は例えば銅やカーボンブラック等
の導電性で本質的に非磁性材である。粒子の寸法はおよ
そ1μから数10μの範囲内である。
溶接手段10の円錐接合部14は該接合部14により容
器19の頂部端の内側に圧接されている容器カバー18
の外縁と内部接合している。カバー18は数100μ厚
の例えばポリプロピレンの外部プラスチック層とおよそ
10μの範囲内の厚さでプラスチック層内の例えばアル
ミニウム箔等の金属材の境界層からなっている。
溶接手段10の円錐端14は作動位置へ挿入され従って
関心のある溶接領域は容器19の頂部とカバー18上の
上向きフランジ間の領域となる。
溶接誘導子14内の電流は既知の方法でループ内に軸方
向に磁気流を生じ、このような磁気流は基本的にループ
に供給される電流の周波数に等しい周波数で発振してい
る。しかしながらここでは説明しない理由により、粉末
充填凹部13の下の領域の容器カバー内では磁気流は顕
著に感知されない。さらに短絡導電ループの例を見れば
、封止容器生産ラインにおける溶接手段の長期動作中で
も本体15は著しく加熱されない。
溶接誘導子からの磁気流は容器の縁領域すなわち所望の
溶接領域以外の領域からは遮へいされることがお判りい
ただけることと思う。
質的観点からお判りいただ()るように、実際の磁気流
(30Kf−1zの範囲内の周波数)に対する磁気流径
路が得られ、それはここでは説明できない理由により粉
末装填体領域を回避している。
実施例は環状溶接領域の加熱に向(プられたが、粉末塊
を有する原理は他の応用にも使用できる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 (1) 磁界を生成して前記磁界を溶接領域に指向する
    導電部材(11)と、 非導電材支持基!!!(16)内の導電性で本質的に非
    磁性粒子(17)からなる磁界修正層(15)とを有す
    る誘導溶接装置、 −(2、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の装置において、前
    記磁界生・成部材はループ(11)を有し、前記磁界修
    正層(15)は前記ループ内に配置されていてループ内
    領域の所定領域を遮へいする誘導溶接装置。 (3) 特許請求の範囲第2項記載の装置において、前
