Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent containers from being unduly taken out, by forming an access opening for stored articles in a work-table ceiling plate above a container receiving bed which is elevatably set, and as well by providing a stopper which inhibits a container from being taken out through the above-mentioned access opening. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving and delivering stored articles into and from containers in a storage section 1, a container 5 is at first set on a conveyor 5, and is then shifted onto a receiving bed 7 connected to the outer end of the conveyor 5. Then, a motor 9 rotates a chain 10 to raise the receiving bed 7 until the handle 2b of the container 2 is made into contact with the lower side of a stopper 15 on the ceiling plate 4 side. At this time the lid 2c of the container 2 is positioned in an opening 14 formed in the ceiling plate 4 so that stored articles may be handled if the lid 2c is opened. However, the take-out of the container 2 itself through the opening 14 may be prevented due to the engagement between the above-mentioned handle 2b and the stopper 15 and the engagement between a handle 2a and a stopper 13.

On the work table person plate 4, the container holder is mounted on a stand 7.
An opening 14 for loading and unloading the stored items is provided at a position directly above the opening 14, and at one end of the opening 14, that is, below the side edge of the side where the conveyor 5 is located, the container receiver is raised to a predetermined height by the stand 7. A stopper 15 for preventing the container from being lifted is attached to vertically oppose the handle 2b of the container 2.

To explain how to use it, when loading or unloading items from a specific container 2 stored in the warehouse section 1, the container 2 is moved to the inner end of the conveyor 5 by a running lane in the automated warehouse section 1. With the container tray 7 waiting at the lower limit height where it connects with the outer end of the conveyor 5, the conveyor 5 and the container tray drive the conveyor 11 on the tray 7 to remove the container. The container receiver 2 is transferred to a predetermined position on the stand 7 as shown by the solid line in FIG.

Next is the motor? By operating the lifting drive check 710, the container holder raises the platform 7, and the container holder lifts the container 2 on the platform 7 so that its handle 2b is in the ceiling as shown by the imaginary line in FIG. Raise the plate 4 side to a height opposite to the lower side of the stopper 15. At this time, the upper end of the container 2 is loosely fitted into the opening 14 of the top plate 4, so the worker waiting at the work place 3 for putting in and taking out stored items can check the lid 2C of the container 2 located inside the opening 14. It is possible to open the container and take out the stored items onto the work table board 4, or to store other stored items in the container 2. However, even if you try to take out the container 2 itself from the opening 14,
One handle 2a of the container 2 engages with a stopper 13 on the container holder 7, and the other handle 2b engages with a stopper 13 on the top plate 4.
Since it is engaged with the stopper 15 on the side, the container receiver cannot lift the container 2 on the platform 7 onto the top plate 4.

When loading and unloading of stored items to the container 2 is completed, the container receiver lowers the platform 7 to the lowering limit height where it connects with the conveyor 5, and then the container receiver drives the conveyor 11 on the platform 7 and the conveyor 5. However, 11 container receivers should place the containers 2 on the platform 7 in the automated warehouse 1 and store them at predetermined positions on the shelves depending on the lanes they run.

Incidentally, when a plurality of types of containers 2 having different heights are used together, the amount of rise of the platform 7 of the container receiver may be changed according to the height of the containers 2. In this case, as shown in the figure, the height from the bottom of the container 2 to the top of the handles 2a and 2b must be constant because the container receiver is provided with a stand 15 on the stand 7 side. Therefore, in the case of a container 2 having a large height, the upper surface of the container 2 will protrude upward from the opening 14.

In the container receiver, the stopper 13 on the stand 7 is simply a stopper for positioning the container 2, and the stopper for preventing lifting that covers the handle 2a is attached to the lower side of the corresponding side edge of the opening 14 in the same way as the stopper 15. You can also do it. In addition, there is a lift-preventing strip that covers the handles 2a and 2b)
The 7 par can also be used at the side edge of the opening 14 of the work table top plate 4. That is, the size of the opening 14 can be adjusted to match the handle 2 of the container 2 without attaching a special stopper.
The desired purpose can be achieved by making it just large enough to allow the portions above a and 2b to pass through.

The storage equipment of the present invention can be implemented and used as described above, and the container receiver that can transfer containers to and from the means for carrying containers into and out of the warehouse (conveyor 5 in the embodiment) moves up and down the platform. The container holder is provided on the work table top plate that covers the upper part of the lifting path of the table, and the container holder is provided with an opening for putting in and taking out stored items from the container on the table, and the container holder is used to raise the table. The receiver is provided with a stopper (stoppers 15, 15 in the embodiment) that prevents the container from being taken out from the opening when the container on the stand faces the opening.
Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the container itself, which has been carried out to a predetermined working position for loading and unloading items, from being improperly removed from the predetermined position. Therefore, the removed container is the container Il! Accidents caused whenever the container is not set correctly, such as the container being oriented incorrectly when being reset on the conveyor (conveyor 5.11 in the embodiment), can be prevented.

Moreover, since the container is raised to face the opening for loading and unloading stored items, the desired purpose can be easily achieved even with containers of different heights, and the upper end of the raised container is Since it can also be used in a state where it fits into the opening, it is possible to prevent the container from being lifted and to reliably maintain the position of the container in both the vertical and horizontal directions.
