Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable parts to be held under the condition of the parts at a certain corrected lead intervals by separating the parts from a tape and holding the leads of these parts in a V-groove of a part holding jig with a cutting mechanism of a part supply device. CONSTITUTION:A movable fixture 2 is pushed by a cylinder 1 and a lead of a part 5 is cut off by a movable edge 3 mounted on said fixture 2 and a fixed edge 4 to separate the part 5 from a tape. This separated part 5 is sandwiched between the movable edge 3 and a part holding jig 6 and held by spring pressure. And the lead of this part 5 is received in a V-groove on an end of the part holding jig 6 so that the parts 5 can be hled in a constant lead interval irrespective of the lead interval prior to the cutting-off. A tape feeding claw 7 of the movable edge fixture 2 is hooked in a transfer hole in the tape by returning the cylinder 1 after part supply for transfer.
