The present invention relates to a clip ribbon and a connecting device for connecting the feed tape for electronic components for surface mounting, and more particularly, a clip ribbon which is connected to a plurality of clips used to connect the feed tape to prevent loss. The present invention relates to an electronic component feeding tape connecting device which fixes a tool for connecting a tape to a frame to improve the speed and accuracy of the connecting work.
Contact electrodes are formed on a printed circuit board (PCB), cream solder is applied, and electronic components such as chips are surface-mounted on the chip mounter. The electronic components required at this time need to be supplied continuously. For the continuous supply of parts, separate equipment called tape feeders is used. The tape feeder is equipped with a component drum in which a feeding tape containing electronic components is wound in a reel form. In other words, the electronic component to be mounted on the printed circuit board is first embedded in the feeding tape, the feeding tape is wound on the component drum, and the tape feeder passes through the process of unloading the feeding tape and supplying the electronic component to the chip mounter.
As shown in FIG. 5, the
On the other hand, if the feeding tape wound on the parts drum is released and exhausted, it should be replaced with a new parts drum. The supply of parts is interrupted during the replacement of the component drum, so that all or part of the printed circuit board manufacturing process, including the operation of the chip mounter, must be interrupted. To continue supplying parts afterwards, the last part of the feeding tape released from the exhausted parts drum must be connected to the first part of the feeding tape released from the new parts drum.
As shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, the
However, although the parts drum is frequently exchanged hundreds of times a day at the production site, the clips are supplied individually and the connecting tool is also a hand tool that requires manual work by the operator. In addition, even a skilled worker was very difficult to replace the part drum and to connect the feeding tape in a short time. In addition, since the size of the clip also decreases in proportion to the size of the electronic component, the problem that the clips provided individually are lost during storage or use is high.

The present embodiment is a strip-shaped
4 is a perspective view of a third embodiment of a clip ribbon for connecting a surface mounting electronic component feeding tape according to the present invention.
This embodiment includes a plurality of
Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings will be described in detail a preferred embodiment of the surface mounting electronic component feeding tape connection device according to another aspect of the present invention.
8 is a front view of a first embodiment of a surface mounting electronic component feeding tape connection device according to the present invention, FIG. 9 is a left side view of the embodiment of FIG. 8, FIG. 12 is a plan view of the embodiment of FIG. 8, and FIG. 13 is A partial rear view of the embodiment of FIG. 8, and FIG. 14 is an enlarged view of the cutter of FIG. 13.
This embodiment includes a
The
As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the
In order to facilitate the feeding tape and the clip ribbon C, it is preferable to install the
On the other hand, if the clip ribbon (C) used in this embodiment is the same as the first embodiment of the clip ribbon for feeding tape connection according to the present invention as described above, the
Since the present embodiment includes a pair of
On the other hand, it is preferable to have a
In addition, a
In this embodiment of the structure described above, the splicing tool connects the end of the feeding tape wound on the component drum and the first end of the feeding tape wrapped on the new component drum with the clip of the clip ribbon wound on the clip drum. Equipment for, for example, tape feeders or chip mounters.
FIG. 15 is a front view of a second embodiment of a surface mounting electronic component feeding tape connection device according to the present invention, FIG. 16 is a left side view of the embodiment of FIG. 15, FIG. 17 is an enlarged view of a portion A of FIG. 18 is a partial rear view of the embodiment of FIG. 15, and FIG. 20 is an enlarged view of the cutter of FIG. 18.
This embodiment further includes a
The
The
In the first embodiment, the feeding
In this embodiment, the
As described above, according to the present invention, since the splicing tool dedicated to the feed tape connection is provided to the frame, the connection device is easily improved as well as quick. Therefore, since the time for which the manufacturing process of the printed circuit board is stopped can be minimized, the production efficiency can be dramatically improved and the loss due to the manufacturing process can be reduced.
