PURPOSE:To enable an inverter to make inversion during continuous feed of bar- like bodies, by lifting and inverting said bar-like bodies on a carry-in conveyor with an inverting wheel having multiple lift pieces extending radially in an inverter of bar-like bodies such as wooden beam. CONSTITUTION:A bar-like body M on a carry-in conveyor 1 is lifted by the lift piece 4a of an inverting wheel 4 rotated by 90 deg. at a predetermined position. The bar-like body M lifted by the next 90 deg. rotation of the inverting wheel is inverted and lowered on a lateral-feed carry-out conveyor 3. ベヤ2のロープ間に延びて複数台の横送り搬出コンベヤ
3が設けられている。横送り搬出コンベヤ3は昇降駆動
装置(図示せず)により、主搬出コンベヤ2の搬送面に
対して浮沈する。横送り搬出コンベヤ3はスラットコン
ベヤからなる。4は反転車であり、搬入コンベヤ1の側
縁に沿う水平軸心回りに回転自在に設けられている。反
転車4は4本の持上げ片4aを放射状に設けたものであ
る。各反転車4は回転軸5で互込に連結されており、モ
ータ(図示せず)によ!1向明駆動されて90°ごとの
間欠回転を行なう。なお、搬入コンベヤ1は4Qm/m
inの搬送速度に設定され、主搬出コンベヤ2は60m
/minの搬送速度に設定されている。
