第1図は従来の多心コアファイバの構造を示す断面図、
第2図a、 b、 C,dは本考案に係るファイバの断
面図、第3図は本考案に係るファイバの屈折率分布図、
第4図は多心コアファイバにおいてコア径に対するコア
中心間距離の比Δd/2aと漏話量dBとの関係を示す
グラフであり、aは従来の構造例、bは本考案の構造例
を示す。第5図はモード次数Mと漏話量8との関係を示
すグラフ、第6図はモード次数Mとモード損失との関 
   係を示すグラフである。 図中、1,4はコア、2,5は第一クラッド、3.6は
第2クラツドである。

Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. (1)石英ガラスよりなり複数のコアを有する光ファイ
    バにおいて、各コア中心がほぼ一直線上にあり、かつ相
    隣接するコア中心間の距離がファイバの長手方向に沿っ
    てほぼ一定であると共に各コアを囲む第1クラツドの屈
    折率がコアの屈折率より小さく、該第1クラツドを囲む
    第2クラツドの屈折率が第1クラツドの屈折率より大き
    いことを特徴とする光伝送用多心ファイバ。
  2. (2)  実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項においてクラ
    ッドおよびまたはクラッドより外側の外周形状に凹部の
    ないことを特徴とする光伝送用多心ファイバ。
