第２図ａ、　ｂ、　Ｃ，ｄは本考案に係るファイバの断
面図、第３図は本考案に係るファイバの屈折率分布図、
第４図は多心コアファイバにおいてコア径に対するコア
中心間距離の比Δｄ／２ａと漏話量ｄＢとの関係を示す
グラフであり、ａは従来の構造例、ｂは本考案の構造例
を示す。第５図はモード次数Ｍと漏話量８との関係を示
すグラフ、第６図はモード次数Ｍとモード損失との関　
　　　係を示すグラフである。 図中、１，４はコア、２，５は第一クラッド、３．６は
第２クラツドである。

Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）石英ガラスよりなり複数のコアを有する光ファイ
    バにおいて、各コア中心がほぼ一直線上にあり、かつ相
    隣接するコア中心間の距離がファイバの長手方向に沿っ
    てほぼ一定であると共に各コアを囲む第１クラツドの屈
    折率がコアの屈折率より小さく、該第１クラツドを囲む
    第２クラツドの屈折率が第１クラツドの屈折率より大き
    いことを特徴とする光伝送用多心ファイバ。
  2. （２）　　実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項においてクラ
    ッドおよびまたはクラッドより外側の外周形状に凹部の
    ないことを特徴とする光伝送用多心ファイバ。
