Abstract

PURPOSE:To arrange objects on more than one line into a single line by gradually reducing the number of lines for said objects being handled, which are being sent on more than one line, by means of a line-up guide at the end of a conveyor and making them form a line at the final outlet, in a collecting and single- line arranging device for canned objects, etc. CONSTITUTION:Objects 12 being handled, which are being sent in more than one line, hit against a pair of right and left guide members 5, 6 which swing in the width direction of a conveyor 1 by means of a power mechanism not shown in the figure, at the end of the conveyor 1, and are kept conveyed while being gradually arranged into a smaller number of lines. The objects 12 being handled, in the middle part, advance faster than others by means of an endless belt 1a' which is higher in speed, and all the objects 12 being handled are arranged into one line at the final outlet, and sent into a passage 13. Due to this construction, objects being conveyed, on more than one line, can be arranged into a single line.

However, one end of alignment guide members j and A is connected to the machine frame as shown above! axis 3. Since it is rotatably supported by the crank rod 10, the eccentric movement of the crank rod 10 is caused by the free end of the alignment guide member j, the free end of the k-axis 3. I
A swing vI movement is made with I as the center and toward the center in the width direction of the moving conveyor. It is preferable that this swinging motion makes the distance between the alignment guide members j and A on the downstream side larger than the diameter of the object to be transferred, and also smaller than twice the diameter.

At this time, as mentioned above, the alignment guide member 6 is swung in the width direction of the transfer conveyor 1 by the power transmission mechanism 1/, so the objects to be processed 2 are gradually aligned in decimal rows, The objects to be processed that have reached the center are carried by a high-speed endless belt /a' so as to pass through them, and at the final exit, they are arranged in seven rows and sent out to a passageway /3.

Since the alignment guide members j, 4 are swung in a horizontal plane via the crank rod r, by the rotation of the crank 7.1, a bridging phenomenon occurs between the workpiece l:2 and the alignment guide member 6. Moreover, if the bridging phenomenon occurs, it will act in the direction of destruction.Furthermore, the force due to the swinging of the alignment guide member will also be applied in the opposite direction to the direction of movement of the transfer conveyor, so that it will be smooth. It is processed into 7 rows and sent to the next process.

As explained above, the apparatus for collecting and arranging transferred articles in a single line according to the present invention includes a conveyor for transferring objects to be processed, and a conveyor at the end of the conveyor, one on the downstream side and the other on the downstream side so that they become interposed as they move toward the downstream side. A pair of left and right alignment guide members are supported by shafts on the machine frame on the upstream side, and a pair of front and left alignment guide members are pivoted toward the center in the width direction of the transfer conveyor at an intermediate portion of the alignment guide members. Since it is equipped with a power transmission mechanism designed to do so, it has a simple structure, and even if there are two or more rows of objects on the conveyor, they can be arranged in seven rows without any problem, solving the problems of the conventional method. At the same time, it is more effective against breakage when a bridging phenomenon occurs than by the entire rocking movement in which both ends of the left and right guide members are moved in parallel.
