Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) Provide an insulating margin at the widthwise end of the metallized film, wind it so that the margin faces face each other, form electrode extensions at both ends of the metallized film to form a capacitor element, and cover the element with the exterior. In the metallized film capacitor, there are two types of metallized film capacitors: a metallized film with an electrode deposited on a polyethylene terephthalate film and a metallized film with an insulating groove partially formed in the width direction of the electrode, and a metallized film with an electrode deposited on a polypropylene film. A capacitor element is constructed by stacking and heating the dielectric film, and when the dielectric film partially breaks down, vapor-deposited electrodes with insulating grooves are scattered in the longitudinal direction near the ends of the insulation margin.
