部に電極引出部を形成してコンデンサ素子を構成し、該
素子を外装してなる金属化フィルムコンデンサにおいて
、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムに蒸着された電
極の幅方向に少な(とも一部に絶縁溝を設けた金属化フ
ィルムと、ポリプロピレンフィルムに蒸着された電極を
有する金属化フィルムとを重ねて巻回し、加熱処理して
コンデンサ素子が構成され、誘電体フィルムの部分破壊
時、その絶縁マージ、   ン端部付近において、絶縁
溝を有する蒸着電極を長さ方向に飛散させることを特徴
とする乾式金属化フィルムコンデンサ。
