Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid the shift or deflection of the tape traveling by energizing the tape in a single direction or at the center after providing a pad to a tape guide member so as to secure a partial contact with overlap between the pad and the tape edge part. CONSTITUTION:A tape 7 has a contact with a tape guide member 1 on its single side, and at the same time the rear side of the tape 7 is pressed with a pad 4 by means of a pad spring 5. In this case, a part of the pad 4 overlaps a part of an upper edge of the tape 7. As a result, the tape 7 tries to get away to the lower part to decrease the load generated by the pad 4 when the tape 7 moves toward an arrow mark. This movement of the tape 7 is regulated by a regulating part 2, and therefore the tape 7 always travels at a fixed position. In case the tape 7 is pressed independently by two pads 4 so that these pads overlap partially both upper and lower edges of the tape 7 respectively, both edges of the tape 7 are pressed with approximately equal pressure by those two different pads 4. Thus the tape 7 travels at the center of two pads 4.

々る方向にずれる力が生じ、これによりテープ状体を規
制部に沿って一定位置を走行させることができるもので
あり、まだ2つのパッドを用いることによってテープ状
体を両パッドの中央に安定させるような力を生じ、常に
安定した位置でテープ状体の走行を実現することができ
るものである。
