本考案は、熱転写プリンター等に装着されるイ

従来のインクリボンカセツトの中には、インク
リボンの走行経路の途中にリボンにバツクテンシ

のがある。かかるブレーキ装置としては第１図に
示したようにインクリボン１の片面をガイドポス
ト２に巻掛して他の片面に板バネ３に取り付けら
れたフエルト等の摩擦材４を当接させた構造のも
のがある。そしてかかるガイドポスト２や摩擦材
４は第３図に示したようにインクリボン１の幅方
向の全範囲に亘つて接触していた。

インクリボンが走行するとその両側縁部に付着し
ていた屑や塵がブレーキ装置のガイドポストに堆
積してインクリボンの円滑な走行を妨げる問題が
あつた。本考案はブレーキ装置のガイドポストに
対する屑や塵の堆積を防止してインクリボンの走
行を良好に維持できる新規な構造のインクリボン
カセツトの提供を目的とする。

の両端部と対向する位置にインクリボンの両端部
と接触しない逃げ溝を設けたことを特徴として構
成されるものである。

ボン１の幅方向の両端部と対向する位置に夫々イ
ンクリボン１との接触を防ぐ逃げ溝７が設けられ
ている。また、摩擦材４の幅がインクリボン１の
幅より狭く設定されて、摩擦材４と接触する側の
インクリボン１の両端部も自由になつている。イ
ンクリボン１が何らかの原因で上下方向に移動し
た場合、インクリボン１の両端部はガイドポスト
２の上下端部の鍔部６によつて規制されるのでイ
ンクリボン１の外れが防止されている。
