本考案は、熱転写プリンター等に装着されるイ

従来のインクリボンカセツトの中には、インク
リボンの走行経路の途中にリボンにバツクテンシ

のがある。かかるブレーキ装置としては第1図に
示したようにインクリボン1の片面をガイドポス
ト2に巻掛して他の片面に板バネ3に取り付けら
れたフエルト等の摩擦材4を当接させた構造のも
のがある。そしてかかるガイドポスト2や摩擦材
4は第3図に示したようにインクリボン1の幅方
向の全範囲に亘つて接触していた。

インクリボンが走行するとその両側縁部に付着し
ていた屑や塵がブレーキ装置のガイドポストに堆
積してインクリボンの円滑な走行を妨げる問題が
あつた。本考案はブレーキ装置のガイドポストに
対する屑や塵の堆積を防止してインクリボンの走
行を良好に維持できる新規な構造のインクリボン
カセツトの提供を目的とする。

と接触しない逃げ溝を設けたことを特徴として構
成されるものである。

ボン1の幅方向の両端部と対向する位置に夫々イ
ンクリボン1との接触を防ぐ逃げ溝7が設けられ
ている。また、摩擦材4の幅がインクリボン1の
幅より狭く設定されて、摩擦材4と接触する側の
インクリボン1の両端部も自由になつている。イ
ンクリボン1が何らかの原因で上下方向に移動し
た場合、インクリボン1の両端部はガイドポスト
2の上下端部の鍔部6によつて規制されるのでイ
ンクリボン1の外れが防止されている。
