PURPOSE:To simplify a tape driving system and to improve the input/output characteristics of a magnetic head, by providing a limiter which controls the position of the magnetic tape width direction at one or both of the upper and lower ends in the width direction of a magnetic head main body so that the limiter has a light touch to the edge of a magnetic tape.
