Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain recording/reproduction at a correct position even when the tape direction is changed by providing a pair of tape edge position restriction sections having an interval slightly larger than the tape width and switching the restriction section sin response to the tape running direction. CONSTITUTION:A pair of tape edge position restriction sections 14, 15 having an interval slightly larger the width of the tape 13 are provided above and under a slit section 2 of a head 1 and tape guides 16, 17 having a switching member 27 and flange faces 20-23 are arranged nearby. 面20,21,22.23にかえて、弱いばね力で当接
するばね附勢されたフランジ面等とすることでテープエ
ツジを押圧するようにしてやれば相対的な高さずれのバ
ラツキによるテープエツジへの押圧力が過大となるのを
防止できるものである。
