Conventional adhesive applicators used in the beading manufacturing process as described above include those in which the tip of the brush is brought into contact only with the three stripes 2a of the beading material 2 and a predetermined amount of adhesive is supplied to the brush, and the roll coater. method was used. However, the adhesive used here has a viscosity of, for example, 4
Since the speed is quite high at 500 to 5000 cps, it is not possible to perform satisfactory coating using the conventional apparatus as described above. That is, it is difficult to uniformly apply the adhesive over all 11 lines of the application surface, and it is also difficult to apply the adhesive neatly to the boundary line between the areas where it should be applied and the areas where it should not be applied. (i.e., the parting line is clearly visible, the adhesive is left uncoated, and smudges appear), and the adhesive tends to become stringy, resulting in uneven coating. Have difficulty.

FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of the coating device according to the present invention, and FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of the vicinity of the coating agent distribution chamber. The apparatus of the present invention is equipped with a coating agent distribution chamber 20. The distribution room 20
preferably has a flat shape, and as shown in FIG. 7, the base 21
and the lid part 22 are joined together to form a flow chamber 20 therebetween, and the flow chamber 20 is divided by a partition body 20'.
Thereby, two divided circulation chambers 20a and 20b are formed. That is, two recesses 23 and a partition 20' of a certain depth (for example, 1 mm) are formed at the joint between the base 21 and the lid 22, and the joint surface of the lid 22 with the base 21 is formed with a partition 20'. It is flat. In order to maintain the connection, the base 21 and the lid 22 are screwed together at four corners with a deviation j1τ. Coating agent distribution room 2
0 has a bead material 2 in a direction substantially perpendicular to its flat shape.
A long article outlet 24 and a long article outlet 25 are provided so that 10,000 of the adhesive coated surface, that is, the three stripes 2a can run. In a plane perpendicular to the running direction of the beading material 20, the cross-sectional shapes of these openings 24 and exits 25 correspond to the shape of the cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the three-striped portion 2a of the beading material 2, The width is such that an appropriate clearance is provided to the outer periphery of the cross-sectional shape of the three-striped portion 2a of the welt material 2. Here, the clearance is usually 03 to 04 songs, but may be different between the entrance 24 and the exit 25 depending on the desired thickness of the adhesive layer, viscosity of the dressing, etc. Since adhesive is not applied to the fin strips 2C of the welt material 2, the long object 24 and outlet 25 cut out the coating agent distribution chamber 20 only in the portion corresponding to the three stripes 2a of the welt material 2. be. The part corresponding to the fin strip 2C is a slit 2 that communicates with the outside.

According to such a coating device of the present invention, the adhesive introduced into each divided distribution chamber (d)
Since the adhesive is applied with uniform pressure to the adhesive, no uncoated adhesive is left, and the parting line is formed as a desired clear straight line at the boundary between the three-striped portion 2a and the fin-striped portion 2c. Furthermore, the thickness of the applied adhesive layer can be adjusted by varying the traveling speed of the beading material 20 or the pressure at which the adhesive is introduced. Furthermore, in the coating apparatus of the present invention, since the coating agent distribution chamber 20 is composed of a plurality of independent divided distribution chambers, the adhesive introduction pressure to each divided distribution chamber can be set independently. It is possible to independently change the amount of coating agent supplied to the corresponding outer surface, thereby partially changing the thickness of the adhesive layer of the three-striped portion 2a exiting the elongated object outlet 25. According to this, the thickness of the adhesive layer changes based on the flow of the adhesive after the adhesive is applied (i.e.,
In consideration of the fact that the thickness of the upper part gradually decreases and the thickness of the lower part gradually increases due to gravity, the upper part can be coated thicker and the lower part thinner.

A coating agent is continuously applied to a specific part or all of the outer periphery of a long object whose cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is constant, while the long object is running in the longitudinal direction. In a coating device, a coating agent distribution chamber into which a coating agent is introduced is provided with a long object outlet and a long object outlet that allow a long object to run through the distribution chamber as if cut out or through the distribution chamber. The shape of the inlet and outlet is such that an appropriate clearance is provided to the coated area on the outer periphery of the cross-sectional shape of the long object, and the coating agent distribution chamber connects the long object and the long object outlet. A divided circulation chamber is formed by dividing into a plurality of parts by one or more partitions having a partition surface essentially in the direction of travel of the long object and extending to the vicinity of the space,
- A σ5 coating device for long objects, characterized in that each divided distribution chamber is connected to an independent coating agent introduction means.
