回転自在なカム軸とを有するとともに、このカム軸に燃
料噴射ポンプの燃料タペットを駆動する燃料カムと吸気
用のタペット及びブツシュロッドを駆動する吸気カムと
排気用のタペット及びブツシュロッドを駆動する排気カ
ムとをそれぞれ前記シリンダの数と等しく複数個ずつ設
けた多気筒ディーゼル機関において、前記燃料噴射ポン
プと前記ブツシュロッドとを25°〜150°の角度を
もって配設し、前記燃料カムの全部をいずれ、 か−個
の前記シリンダに連結される前記吸気カムと前記排気カ
ムとの間に配設し、これらの吸気カー ムと排気カムと
の間隔よりも他のシリンダ用の吸気用のタペット及び排
気用のタペットを駆動する前記吸気カムと前記排気カム
との間隔を狭く定めたことを特徴とする多気筒ディーゼ
