  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 多角形板状をなし、その上下面の一方又は両方の周縁部
    分には、中挟のランド２を有するようにして、チップブ
    レーカ溝３が形成されるようにしたスローアウェイチッ
    プにおいて、 前記ランド２は、ノーズ６付近の巾Ｗ工が狭くしかも辺
    中央付近の巾Ｗ２が広くなるように変化しており、また
    、ノーズ６付近から下り傾斜が始まることにより、周側
    面７との間に形成される切刃稜８が直線稜に続いてイン
    クリネーションαを有する傾斜稜として形成されており
    、 前記チップブレーカ溝３は、下り傾斜が始まるところの
    すくい角θ１および１□が下りきったところのすくい角
    θ２および巾１２よりもいずれも小さくなっていること
    を特徴とするスローアウェイチップ。
