Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は合成樹脂製成形物に形成された溝内に合成樹脂
製帯を熱溶着させる方法に関するものである。
即ち、本発明は合成樹脂製成形物に形成された溝内に合
成樹脂製帯を熱溶着させる方法に於て、熱風を吹き付け
て溝の表面と合成樹脂製帯の裏面とを加熱溶融させなが
らプレッシャーローラーにより溝内に合成樹脂製帯を押
し付けることを特徴とする熱溶着方法に関するものであ
る。
本発明方法に依れば、ポリエチレン製パレット、ポリプ
ロピレン製パレットの如き合成樹脂製パレットに形成さ
れた溝内にエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体、エチレン・
プロピレン・ゴム、エチレン・エチルアクリレート・ゴ
ム等より成る滑止用帯を極めて効率よく熱溶着させるこ
とができ以下、図面とともに本発明を説明すると、第1
図は本発明に於て使用する熱溶着装置の一例を示した正
面図であり、第2図は合成樹脂製成形物の溝内に合成樹
脂製帯を熱溶着させた状態を示した部分断面図である。
熱溶着装置ff1lは、カッター2、布供給ローラー3
、スタート位置検知スイッチ4、プレッシャーローラー
5、エアーヒーター6、溝状態検知ローラー7並びに溝
終端検知ローラー8を有している。
合成樹脂製成形物9を台上に固定し、準備スイッチを押
すと、熱溶着装置1が準備位置から下降して矢印入方向
に前進する。これにともなって溝状態検知ローラー7並
びに溝終端検知ローラー8が合成樹脂製成形物9に形成
された溝10内に入り込み、溝10内を矢印A方向に前
進する。
スタート位置検知スイッチ4が合成樹脂製成形物9に接
触した時に熱溶着装置1が矢印A方向への前進を停止す
る。
これと同時に布供給ローラー3を駆動するモーターが回
転し始めて合成樹脂製帯11の供給が開始される。合成
樹脂製帯11の先端が溝10内に入り込み、溝10の始
端に接触した時に布供給ローラー3を駆動するモーター
に流れる過電流がメーターリレーで検知され、合成樹脂
製帯11の供給が停止される。
スタートスイッチを押すと、2個のエアーヒーター6か
ら熱風が吹き付けられて溝10の表面と合成樹脂製帯1
1の裏面に対する子側熱が開始される。エアーヒーター
6は石英ガラス製ノズル内にニクロム綿を内蔵したヒー
ターを使用すればよく、熱風温度は250〜350℃と
し、子側熱時間は5〜15秒間とすることが好ましい。
子細熱時間経過後に、タイマーからの信号により一定時
間後に帯供給ローラー3を駆動するモーターの回転並び
に熱溶着装置1の矢印A方向への前進が順次に再開され
、次いでプレッシャーローラー5が熱溶着装置ll内か
ら合成樹脂製帯11上に下降した後に、帯供給ローラー
3を駆動するモーターの回転が停止され、帯供給ローラ
ー3が自由回転となる。これによって、熱溶着装置1は
エアーヒーター6から熱風を吹き付けて溝10の表面と
合成樹脂製帯11の裏面とを加熱溶融させながらプレッ
シャーローラー5により溝10内に合成樹脂製帯l】を
押し付けつつ矢印A方向に前進する。プレッシャーロー
ラー5の圧力は2〜5 kg / aJとすることが好
ましい。
溝10が変形していることによって溝状前検知ローラー
7が溝lOの側壁部を乗り上げた場合には、リミットス
イッチが押され、熱溶着装置1の矢印A方向への前進が
停止されると同時にエアーヒーター6がオフとなる。そ
こで、溝10の変形を調整して溝状前検知ローラー7を
溝10内に落し込んだ後に、スタートスイッチを押すと
、エアーヒーター6がオンとなり、子細熱時間経過後に
熱溶着装置1の矢印A方向への前進が再開される。
溝終端検知ローラー8が溝10の終端の側壁部を乗り上
げると、タイマーからの信号により一定時間後にカッタ
ー2が作動して合成樹脂製帯11の終端と溝IOの終端
とが一致するように合成樹脂製帯11が切断され、次い
で一定時間後に溝10の終端に到達した時点でエアーヒ
ーター6がオフになる。
熱溶着装w1が前進限界に設けたスイッチに当ると、プ
レッシャーローラー5が熱溶着装置1内に上昇するとと
もに熱溶着装置1自体が上昇し、次いで熱溶着装置1が
矢印A方向とは逆方向に準備位置まで後退し、熱溶着工
程が終了する。
本発明に従って複数本の合成樹脂製帯11を平行に熱溶
着させる場合には、複数個の熱溶着装置1を平行に配置
して同時に同速度で前進させることが好ましい。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 合成樹脂製成形物に形成された溝内に合成樹脂製帯を熱
    溶着させる方法に於て、熱風を吹き付けて溝の表面と合
    成樹脂製帯の裏面とを加熱溶融させながらプレッシャー
    ローラーにより溝内に合成樹脂製帯を押し付けることを
    特徴とする熱溶着方法。
