  1. １対の高圧極板の中間に信号極板を配した複数個の放射
    線検出素子を、気体を封入した容器内に収容してなる放
    射線検出器において、前記高圧極板の放射線に対する実
    効厚さを信号極板のそれより厚くしたことを特徴とする
    電離箱式放射線検出器。
