Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow infants to immediately vomit a battery due to the effects of stimulative materials even when the infants swallow the battery, by applying to the surface of the battery those materials of a sharp taste and a bitter taste such as mustard, pepper, and ginger. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 2 is provided at the bottom of an alkaline type button battery 1 and a positive electrode 3 forming an opposed electrode of the said negative electrode 2 is provided at the side and on top of the said battery 1. In this case, only the top of the positive electrode 3 is coated with a stimulative material 4 in which starch serving as paste, sorbic acid serving as a preservative, and mustard serving as the stimulative material are blended at a proper rate so as not to hinder current from being applied when the battery 1 is mounted on a camera, electronic calculator, etc.

Conventionally, small batteries such as button-type batteries, mainly alkaline batteries, have been known, for example, in which a concentrated solution of sodium hydroxide (20-so%), a zinc cathode, and a manganese anode are housed in an iron capsule. This product is used in cameras, calculators, electronic watches, small electronic games, etc. However, in the case of electronic watches, the batteries are usually replaced in the watch store, so the batteries are not handed out alone, so there is no problem of children putting them in their mouths, but cameras, calculators, small electronic games, etc. Since the batteries used in the device are replaced by the user, there is a risk of an infant accidentally swallowing the battery, causing the capsule to melt with gastric juices, causing the concentrated alkaline solution to leak out and puncture the internal parts. There are concerns.

Therefore, in order to prevent infants from swallowing the batteries as described above, the present invention provides irritating substances such as pungent or bitter substances such as chili pepper, black pepper, and fresh herbs on the surface of the batteries, so that infants and infants may accidentally swallow the batteries. The reason is that even if the battery is put into the mouth, it will be spit out immediately due to the action of the stimulant.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b) are an overall perspective view and a side view of an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a commercially available alkaline button battery, and the bottom of the alkaline button battery 1 has a cathode 2, and the cathode 2 and the opposite positive electrodes G and 3 are on the side and top surfaces of the battery 1, respectively. It is arranged.

By the way, in order to ensure that conductivity is not affected when the battery 1 is set in a camera, calculator, etc., starch as a glue, sorbic acid as a preservative, and chili pepper as an irritant are added to the top surface of the anode 3 only. An irritating substance 4 mixed in an appropriate ratio is applied.

Therefore, even if an infant accidentally puts a battery configured as described above into its mouth, the infant's tongue will detect the unique spiciness of the chili pepper contained in the starch, and the infant will put it into its mouth as a conditioned reflex. There is no possibility that the battery will be ejected and it will cause serious problems like the conventional Ω battery mentioned above.

In this example, the case where the irritating substance was applied directly to the upper surface of the 11 poles was explained, but the irritating substance was applied directly to the top surface of the 1'4 pole, and this seal was applied to the upper surface of the 1'4 pole. By adhering it to the surface, it is possible to take measures to prevent it from seeping into button batteries that are already on the market.

In addition to chili peppers, other stimulants such as beef radish, wasabi, and mingong may also be used, as well as chemically synthesized products that are designated as food additives under the Food Sanitation Act. Furthermore, the thickeners and preservatives are not limited to starch and norbic acid, but chemically synthesized products such as sodium alginate and calcium propionate, which are designated as food additives under the Food Sanitation Act, may also be used. Furthermore, in order to color the irritating substances, colorants such as red, scorch, and green are removed, and the surface ih1 of the irritating substances is made to have a rough surface, thereby calling attention to infants and children, and accidentally causing It is also possible to have the effect of causing a feeling of discomfort even if you put it in the pond, causing it to be vomited out.

As described in detail above, the present invention does not impede the structure or function of many commercially available button-type batteries, and uses extremely simple means and methods to achieve the desired single-bed battery. Since the sensory stimulant was applied to the surface of the above-mentioned button-type battery by coating or pasting it on appropriate places, even if children, especially infants, were to put the button-type battery in their mouths, the stimulation surface would not be affected. As a result of its stimulatory effect within the body, infants reflexively spit it out. Therefore, accidents such as accidental swallowing can be prevented.
