[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative veneer having a tree ring pattern,
More specifically, by drilling a cylindrical hole on the surface of a base material made of laminated laminae, placing a log in this hole to form a flitch material, and then cutting this flitch material into slices, The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing decorative veneer with a pattern of annual rings of logs scattered on its surface.

Conventionally, decorative plywood, which is made by pasting decorative veneer to a plywood substrate, has mainly been monotonous with the natural wood grain pattern of high-quality precious wood expressed as a surface pattern, but it has also been made with decorative devices such as mosaic patterns on the surface. There are only a few examples of those that utilize the tree ring pattern on the wood.

In addition, the annual ring pattern of the wood grain is often uniformly arranged in multiple rows and rows, and the heavyness of this type of decorative plywood is emphasized more than necessary, and the areas where it can be used as decorative plywood are limited. . Furthermore, when producing a decorative veneer with a wood-end growth ring pattern, it is possible to saw the wood end to produce a veneer of a constant thickness; however, according to this method, the veneer is pasted under pressure, etc. There were problems in the process, such as cracks and splits, and the cost of veneer materials was high. On the other hand, the thinner the cutting thickness is, the more problems arise, such as splitting due to the brittleness of the butt end, which has a low shear modulus.

Therefore, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, a hole is formed in the butting end surfaces of a base material made of assembled lamina, a log material is placed in this hole to form a flitch material, and this flitch material is cut to form a decorative structure. The purpose of this project is to manufacture veneers, and we aim to provide a method for manufacturing decorative veneers with excellent quality, such as less splitting during cutting, a high production yield, and no warping or peeling as decorative plywood. It is something to do.

If necessary, the outer periphery of the flitch material 60 is pasted with a stick, or the surface of the flitch material 60 is cut with a planer and a super finishing plane. In addition, in the cutting process, either the slicer can be moved or the flitch material itself can be moved, but the cutting edge of the slicer should not be at right angles to the feed direction but at a bias angle of about 5° to 30°. It is convenient if you leave it there.

If a bark-colored thin board is wrapped around the outer circumference 51 of the log material 50, the above-mentioned bark-colored outline will be attached to the outer periphery of the annual ring pattern, and the decorative veneer will be different from the one with only the annual ring pattern. The pattern of separation will be expressed.

In addition, if the laminar and log material constituting the base material have a moisture content higher than the fiber saturation point, the length will not be easy to cut, and the difference in drying shrinkage between the two will be small.
This is a decorative veneer that can be directly attached to a base plate without the need for trimming or splicing.

Although the above manufacturing method has been explained using a flitch material composed of base materials 1 and 2, the present invention is not limited to this, and a flitch material may be composed of a plurality of base materials 1, 2, 3, etc. In this case, a desired number of holes are drilled on each side end surface, and logs are placed and fixed therein to provide a decorative veneer with a randomly arranged annual ring pattern.

As explained above, in the method of manufacturing a decorative veneer with a tree ring pattern according to the present invention, a hole is formed in the butting side end surfaces of two base materials, and a log is placed in the hole and bonded together, and the base materials are also bonded to each other. Since the flitch material is formed by sticking together and the flitch material is then cut, the method of forming the flitch material is to glue the base materials together in advance and then press-fit the logs into holes drilled there. Compared to this, the work of constructing the flitch material is extremely easy, and since the semicircular holes in both base materials sandwich and fix the log materials, there is no gap between the base material and the log material, making it clear. It is possible to produce a decorative veneer with a poetic feel that has interspersed tree ring patterns.
