Conventionally, the commonly used manufacturing method for artificially decorated veneers involves laminating, gluing, and pressing pre-dyed material veneers to obtain flitches, and then slicing the flitches. In order to reproduce the subtle color changes of natural wood on the surface of artificial decorative veneers, multiple types of dyeing baths are prepared for each material veneer in the dyeing process of the laminated material veneers mentioned above. They applied slightly different stains, or obtained each veneer from logs of different types of wood and dyed them under the same dyeing conditions to reproduce subtle color changes.

The surface of the artificially decorated veneer obtained in this way reproduces a wood grain pattern with annual ring lines at the laminated boundary surfaces of the veneers of each material, but the color changes due to the dyeing process are different from each other. It only occurred between the grain layers.

However, natural wood has subtle color changes not only between each grain layer but also within the same grain layer, and the above method does not allow for the natural feel unique to such natural wood. is impossible to reproduce.

In order to give subtle color changes within the same grain layer, similar to natural wood, in the dyeing process of the veneers, a patch plate is attached to a part of the surface of each veneer. By immersing the wood in a dyeing bath or in a decolorizing solution before dyeing, each material veneer is dyed unevenly, and the dyeing unevenness causes subtle color changes within the same wood grain layer. Although a method has already been developed, this method requires work such as attaching a caul plate to each veneer of material at the dyeing stage, making the dyeing process extremely complicated.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to make the dyeing process extremely simple, and to make the wood grain pattern on the surface of the resulting artificial decorative veneer rich in natural appearance with subtle color changes that closely resemble natural wood. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an artificially decorated veneer.

That is, as shown in FIG. 1A, this artificial decorative veneer manufacturing method involves compressing multiple types of material pieces 1 of different types obtained by vertically splitting a log-shaped raw wood radially using an adhesive to form a log. Further, in the above description, the dyeing process is applied to the sliced veneer 3 obtained from the laminated wood 2 made by joining different materials, but the dyeing process is not limited to this order, and the uneven deformed flitch 5 can be sliced. It may be applied to a sliced veneer obtained by doing so.

As described above, the method for manufacturing artificially decorated veneer of this invention is as follows:
A process of combining logs of different types to form laminated wood,
slicing the laminated wood to obtain a sliced veneer;
Any one of the following steps: laminating and press-bonding the sliced veneers to obtain a flitch, slicing the flitch, slicing the laminated wood to obtain a sliced veneer, and slicing the flitch. Since this process includes a dyeing process that will be carried out later, each wood grain layer that appears on the surface of the resulting artificially decorated veneer is divided into multiple types of materials, and these different types of materials are dyed under the same dyeing conditions. Since subtle differences occur in the dye density, it is possible to reproduce subtle color changes that closely resemble natural wood within the same wood grain, making it possible to create artificially decorated veneers with a rich natural feel. Example 1 As shown in Figure 1A, Jelutong and Merapi material pieces made by vertically splitting logs in a radial manner were pressed. Crab 20 vertical maintenance time: 20 hrs.
