Conventionally, decorative veneers with decorative veneer surfaces have been preferred because their surfaces have wood grains and the like, and are very similar to natural precious wood. However, its surface is flat and has little variation, so it is somewhat lacking. In order to solve this problem, so-called open-cutting is used, in which long and thin plates are pasted on the surface in parallel with a little space between them, but this only increases the number of steps. It is also expensive.

FIG. 1 shows one embodiment of this invention. As shown in the figure, this wavy decorative veneer is obtained by a well-known method, in which a wavy-shaped decorative veneer 1 is fixed to a flat core material 2.

For example, material veneers such as rotary veneers obtained by rotary slicing raw wood are degreased and bleached as necessary.
After dyeing, they are laminated with an adhesive, heated and pressed using a mold with irregularities on the mold surface to obtain an assembled flitch, and this flitch is then sliced. It may be printed on the surface, or it may be covered with printed paper or film.

There is no particular limitation on the method of forming the decorative veneer into a corrugated shape. For example, pressing is performed using a mold with a corrugated mold surface. The pitch of the wave ridgeline ranges from several tens of millimeters to several millimeters or less. Moreover, the height of the large one is several millimeters or more, and the small one is one millimeter or less. Therefore, waves can be large swells, small undulations or simply wrinkles, or a combination of these. The ridgelines of waves are not necessarily aligned in one direction. For example, the direction of the ridgeline may be bent at various points, or it may be undulating when viewed from a plane.

The core material may be a simple board, but as shown in the figure,
If a core material made of a thin material such as paper is formed into a honeycomb shape, it will not only be lightweight, but also have good heat and sound insulation properties. When using a core material, it is better to bond a thin flat plate to the back side of the core material. There is no limit to the method of fixing the corrugated decorative veneer to the core material, but usually an adhesive method is used. In this case, the back surface of the corrugated decorative veneer and the surface of the core material are in a state where the peaks of the corrugated convex portions on the back surface of the decorative veneer are in line contact, as shown in Figure 1, so the adhesive strength is low. There is a risk that it will become weaker. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 2, by interposing the cushioning material 3 between the two 1.2 and adhering the cushioning material to the surface of the core material 2, as well as adhering the corrugated decorative veneer to the surface of the cushioning material. Increase the adhesive area and increase the adhesive strength. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3, a foam material 4 may be injected and foamed between the two parts 1.2 to increase the adhesive strength. In addition,
It is conceivable to create a decorative veneer with a corrugated surface by fixing a foam material or particle board with a corrugated surface to the surface of the core material without attaching a corrugated decorative veneer, but this would result in a large amount of material loss.

All of the methods for fixing the corrugated decorative veneer evenly on top require additional materials and processes, so in order to avoid such disadvantages, it is recommended to increase the adhesive strength of the corrugated decorative veneer as follows. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the decorative veneer 5 is formed in advance so that the top of the corrugated convex portion on the back side of the decorative veneer 5 is flat. In the figure, 6 is the core material, and L is the flat part at the top. This can be done, for example, by flattening the part of the mold surface that will form the top. In the corrugated decorative veneer thus obtained, the thickness of the flat portion is thinner than the other portions. The corrugated decorative veneer 5 obtained in this way,
By arranging the feather core or other core JA6 and the back plate 7 as shown in Fig. 5, and placing the adhesive between them as shown in Fig. 6, they are overlapped and bonded and fixed. This results in a corrugated decorative board. In this way, a decorative veneer with a flattened top of the corrugated convex portion on the back side has a high adhesive strength because the contact area with the core material increases. Moreover, joining becomes easy. Therefore, when adhering to the core material, the amount of adhesive and pressure can be reduced. Moreover,
Since the top can be flattened at the same time as the corrugated shape, the process and cost are reduced.

In this way, by leaving the space 8 between the corrugated decorative veneer and the core material without intervening any other material, there is not only the advantage that no other intervening material is required; This space is more preferable because it also increases heat insulation and sound insulation.
