[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a device for removing foreign objects mixed into a large number of small rod-shaped parts.

Generally, rod-shaped parts such as the rollers and pins of needle bearings or the flints of lighters are manufactured by cutting a long or coiled wire into equal intervals.

During this cutting, due to a cutting error, short facets shorter than the specified size or short facets formed at the end of the wire are mixed into the product of the specified size.

In addition, polishing stones from tumblers used for panning processing of these products (products with specified dimensions) may also be mixed in.

On the other hand, pipe chutes with a predetermined inner diameter are often used for supplying these products.

Therefore, if the above-mentioned short facets or abrasive stones (foreign items) get mixed into the pipe chute and become clogged at the chute entrance or in the middle, supply becomes impossible.

In particular, if the pipe becomes clogged, it is extremely difficult to remove it.

Therefore, in the past, these foreign items were separated and removed as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 before being supplied to the inspection, assembly process, etc.

That is, the rod-shaped parts 1 are aligned using a parts feeder 2 or the like,
The parts are sequentially supplied in the axial direction to a passage 4 with a semicircular cross section or a V-shaped cross section provided on the supply chute 3, and a part of the passage 4 through which the part 1 passes has a width shorter than the specified dimension a of the part 1. A gap 5 is provided, and foreign items 6 are removed from this gap 5.

In other words, the part 1 with the specified size a easily passes over the gap 5, but foreign parts 6 such as short facets whose length is less than the width of the gap 5, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. , it cannot pass through the gap 5 and falls naturally through the gap 5 and is removed.

However, since the above-mentioned conventional gap 5 simply divides the passage 4 in parallel, there is a problem that foreign items 6 get stuck in the gap 5.

For example, as shown in FIG. 6, when a foreign article 6' whose length is approximately equal to the width of the gap 5 comes, this foreign article 6' may stop in the gap 5 while falling. When the polishing stone is mixed in, the grain size of the polishing stone varies over a wide range, and since it is in the form of a lump, there is a drawback that the grinding stone almost always stops and it becomes impossible to remove the foreign material.

Furthermore, when the foreign article 6' becomes stuck in the gap 5, a portion of the foreign article 6' may protrude onto the passage 4, stopping the flow of the following parts 1 and making it impossible to supply the parts.

In view of the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, the present invention has been improved and eliminated. The gap on the path where foreign items are allowed to fall and be removed is sloped, and the removal of foreign items is ensured by applying vibration. Providing conditioned equipment.

以下、本考案の構成を図面を参照して説明する。Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.

In FIGS. 7 to 9, reference numeral 7 denotes a passage for supplying the component 1 in the axial direction, 8 a gap provided in a part of the passage 7, and 9.10 an end face of the passage forming the gap 8.

通路7は円弧と接線による■字形断面とする。The passage 7 has a ■-shaped cross section formed by a circular arc and a tangent.

Further, the gap 8 is defined by the passage end surfaces 9 and 10, as shown in FIG.
is inclined in the horizontal direction in a V-shape, and the passage end surfaces 9 and 10 are inclined in a shape that opens downward, as shown in FIG.

Further, one of the passage end surfaces 9 and 10 is vibrated relative to the other in the component axial direction.

This vibration may be generated by using the vibration of the parts feeder or by using a separate linear feeder.

Incidentally, the gap 8 on the passage is shorter than the length of the part 1 having the specified dimension a, and is set to be longer than the length of the foreign part 6.

Next, a short or small foreign item 6 shorter than the specified dimension a flows through the passage 7 and when it reaches the gap 8, the foreign item 6 moves in the direction of the inclined opening of the gap 8 and naturally falls within the gap 8. go.

At this time, even if the length of the foreign item 6 is almost the same as the center width of the gap 8, due to the horizontal and vertical inclinations of the gap 8,
Both end surfaces of the foreign article 6 do not catch on the end surfaces 9 and 10 of the passage, and the foreign article 6 naturally falls within the gap 8, as shown in FIG.

In addition, the vibrations of the passage end surfaces 9 and 10 constantly change the distance between the gaps 8, making it difficult for the foreign items 6 to come to rest in the gaps 8, and causing the foreign items 6 to

Although the inner passage end faces 9 and 10 of the gap 8 are horizontally V-shaped, it is also possible to make only one passage end face 10 horizontally inclined, as shown in FIG. 11, for example.

As explained above, this invention involves sliding rod-shaped parts whose axial length is a specified size in a line in the axial direction on a passage connected to a parts feeder, etc. A foreign article whose axial length to be mixed is less than a specified size is allowed to fall naturally through a gap formed in the middle of the passage, across the passage, and separated by a size smaller than the specified size. A device for removing the passage, which gradually expands the opposite end surface of the passage forming the gap within the range of the above dimensions from one end in the transverse direction of the passage to the other end, and expands downward in a tapered shape. and vibrate at least the passage upstream of the gap in the axial direction.
A rod-shaped part of a specified size can easily pass through the gap, and only foreign items smaller than the specified size can be removed by falling naturally from the gap, and the special shape of the gap and at least the upstream passage of the gap can be vibrated in the axial direction. By continuously changing the dimension of the gap by the amplitude dimension in the axial direction, it is possible to reliably prevent foreign objects from clogging the gap in the form of a bridge, automate the removal of foreign objects, and save labor. There are a lot.
