Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of explosion proof treatment by means of shrinking and make such a cathode-ray tube as having no setting metal device manufacurable in an easy manner, by locking an endless-form tension band whose circumferential surface is firmly fitted with plural pieces of section L-shaped supporting metal devices carrying a notched part in its bent part each, to the circumference of a valve face part by means of shrinking. CONSTITUTION:Supporting metal devices 6, 6... for facilitating shrinking operation are installed on the circumference of an endless-form tension band (an explosion proof band) 1. Each supporting metal device 6 is made up in section L-shaped form and in addition, a fixed depth notched part 6' is installed in the inner surface of an L-shaped bent part by means of a press or the like. This explosion proof band 1 is supported by a receiving jig 4, heated for thermal expansion, and a valve 2 is inset in from a face part, then shrunk and locked after being cooled. Next, each supporting metal device 6 is repeatedly bent again and over again from a point of the notched part 6' and cut thereat, then a projection piece (6a) is removed, leaving only the part locked to the explosion proof band 1 behind. With this constitution, such a cathode-ray tube as having no setting metal device for a cabinet or the like is processed with explosion proof treatment by means of shrinking can be secured.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION A. Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing cathode ray tubes, and more particularly to a method for manufacturing cathode ray tubes subjected to explosion-proof treatment by firing.

Conventional art cathode ray tubes are treated with various anti-algae treatments as needed.
Figure 1 shows explosion-proof treatment using the firing method. This firing method heats and thermally expands the explosion-proof black pant-shaped tension band (hereinafter referred to as explosion-proof band) (1) shown in Figure 2.
After fitting the outer periphery of the face of the pulp (2) into this, the pulp (2) is allowed to cool, the explosion-proof band 0+ is contracted, and the explosion-proof band +11 is tightened and attached to the face of the pulp (2) to perform explosion-proof treatment.

By the way, in order to store the cathode ray tube in a cabinet, etc., the outer circumference of the explosion-proof band + 1) is covered with #, puttsun = li.
A supporting metal fitting (3) (hereinafter referred to as a bracket) is attached to the llJtX side.

Therefore, when firing the explosion-proof band (1), the bracket (3) is used to hold the leak-proof band (1), heat the algae-proof band (1), insert the cathode ray tube, and allow it to cool. That is, as shown in Fig. 7, the bracket (3) fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the algae-proof band [1] is held by the MA [41 to hold the explosion-proof band +1), and this is heated in the mouth. Due to this confusion, the pulp (2) held by the suction block 1 (5+) is inserted into the explosion-proof band +1.

By the way, recently, cathode ray-f! The cabinets that house the devices have become smaller and can be installed without using the brackets (3), but the brackets (3) may get in the way. However, the firing-based explosion-proof treatment had the drawback that without the bracket (3), it was difficult to hold and heat the explosion-proof band (1), and the work of inserting the pulp (2) became internally magnetic.

The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, and provides a method for easily manufacturing cathode ray tubes that can be easily subjected to the 4-proof treatment by firing and that do not require any mounting means.

EXAMPLES The present invention will be described below. In Figures 7 and 2
The same reference numerals as in the figure indicate the same thing. First, as shown in the fJJ diagram, a stopper support * A fs is placed around the outer circumference of the endless tension band (explosion-proof band) (1) to facilitate the firing work.

An indentation (6) of a certain depth is provided on the inner surface of the character-shaped bent portion by pressing or the like. As before, this explosion-proof band (1) is held by a jig (4) and heated to expand it thermally, and the pulp (2) is inserted from the face part. After cooling, tightening is done as scheduled. The depth is set as deep as possible without interfering with the firing process. Then, as shown in Figure 45, repeatedly bend the supporting money (6) from the man's capital (6), remove the protrusion (6a), and remove the explosion-proof band (fl).
Leave only the part fixed to . As a result, it is possible to obtain an explosion-proof hunting tube by firing without attaching it to a cabinet or the like.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, a support metal having a beveled cross section and a cutout on the inner surface of the bent portion is fixed in an explosion-proof/< Since it is removed by cutting from the recessed part, conventional firing equipment can be used as is, explosion-proof treatment can be easily performed, and the protruding pieces of the support metal can also be easily removed. Also, since the crimping of the support metal is formed on the inner surface of the bent part, the protruding piece (6 &) is bent and removed.
Even if there is a stiffness on the J surface, it will still be tight against the recessed part (61 is the explosion-proof band + 1), and the Paris is on the inside of it, so it will not be pulled or pressed. There is no problem in handling it even if it is left cut.
