Abstract

PURPOSE:To house printed papers in a stacker by turning the printed face upwards or downwards as needed by providing a switch means by which to inverse and discharge the printed face of a printed paper. CONSTITUTION:The first stacker 12 to be turned in the direction of arrow A and coupled with an inverse path 13 and the second stacker 10 to house papers sent out of the inverse path 13 are provided. In case where the first stacker 12 is set at a position as shown by full line, the paper printed in a printing section 3 and discharged by a discharge roller 7 is stacked on the first stacker, and also where the stacker 12 is reset as shown by dotted line, turning in the direction of arrow A, the paper discharged by the discharge roller 7 is fed on the inverse path 13 and stacked on the second stacker 10 by a sending roller 9.

Therefore, the paper 4-1 stored in the paper feed section 5 is fed to the printing section 3, and after being printed in the printing section 3,
is discharged to the stacker section 6 by the rotational drive of. The ejected paper 4-2 is stacked 7, - However, in such a configuration, the print surface 4A of the paper 4-2 stacked on the stacker section 6 is the upper surface, and the paper 4-2 that was ejected first is stacked. is located at the bottom, so if the printing process is to print consecutive pages, the previous page and the next page are stacked upside down. Therefore, the paper 4-2 taken out from the stacker section 6 has the disadvantage that the stacking order must be changed.
The configuration shown in is now in use.

A gear 16 is fixed to a central shaft 15 on which the first stacker section 12 is rotated, and a gear 17 is connected to a gear 17 that meshes with the gear 16.
8 are fixed together. When the first stacker section 12 is in the set state, the paper ejected from the ejection roller 7 is transported in the direction of arrow C as shown in the figure, but when the first stacker section 12 is rotated in the direction shown by arrow A1. When the gears 16 and 7 and 1 are set to the reset state, the gears 16 and 7 and 1 rotate as indicated by the arrows, respectively. Therefore, the switching claw 18 is rotated in the direction indicated by the arrow, and the paper discharged from the discharge row 27 is transferred in the direction indicated by the arrow B as described above.
