Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はゴルフクラブのヘッドに係り、その目的とする
ところは構造が簡単で特性を改良した、特に％妬抵抗性
、耐久性および推進力に注意を注いだゴルフクラブのヘ
ッドを提供することにある。
従って、本発明は合成ゴムおよび天然ゴムから峨ばれた
材料の成形芯体と、この芯体のほぼ全面を合に取囲む外
殻で、ポリカーボネート、ポリアミドおよびポリブチレ
ン・テレフタレートの群から選ばれた熱可塑性重合体材
料製で少なくとも７５シヨアＤの硬さを有する外殻とよ
りなるゴルフクラブのヘッドを提供するものである。
本発明の好ましき実施例によれは、液を充填した密封体
よりなる中心の芯体か上記芯体内に埋設されている。
本発明を添付の図面を参考に以下に記載する。
さて第１図および２図について述べると、芯体２と外殻
３とよりなるゴルフクラブのベッド１が示されている。
芯体２は天然ゴムおよび合成ゴム、好ましくはポリウレ
タンなどエラストーマ側斜製である。芯体２を包む外殻
３は少なくともショーアＤの硬度を持つポリカーボネー
ト、ポリアミド、ポリアミドおよびポリブチルテレフタ
レートの群から選ばれた熱可贈性重合体材料で造られて
いる。外殻３は典型的には３聴乃至６ｖｒｍの厚さを有
し、芯体２の外面のほぼ全体を密に包んでいる。外殻は
打撃前３ａを含み、この打撃前３ａには当業技術分野で
は公知のとおり、水平方向のみぞ６が設けられている。
好ましくは、打撃前３ａにはさらにその上側部分に副次
的垂直みぞまたは垂直みぞ７が設けられて、下側垂直み
ぞ６に合流している。みぞ７は、ボールが正しく打たれ
ない場合には４で−ルが打′ｉＷ面の方へ向くのを助け
る案内装置の役目をする点で有益であることが判った。
第１の方法によれば、第１図および２図に示すクラブヘ
ッドは初めに公知の方法、例えば射出成形、ブロー成形
、射出ブロー成形、回転成形などによって造られる。外
殻３が固化すると、外殻の表面に穴８を開けてから第２
型入れる。
次いで基材料がこの穴８から大気圧において鋳込まれる
。穴８は鋳込みぞに接続されている。
好ましくは、注型製品の均質性を増進し外殻の完全な注
入を行うため鋳込工程の終り頃に僅かな超気圧を鋳込材
料に加える。基材料を硫化または交差結合させるため硬
化後に、クラブシャフト９を挿入させる穴がクラブヘッ
ド１の切頭円錐形部分１ａにあけられる。
第２の方法によれば、クラブシャフト９を挿入するよう
にした凹陥部を形成するため金属棒を含む鋳型内に先ず
芯体２を鋳込むことにより造られる。硬化後、成形芯体
を第２鋳型に移し、射出により外殻材料が被覆される。
第３図の実施例によれば、中心芯体４は芯体２内に埋設
されている。中心芯体４はほぼ球形であって、約０．１
−０．５　ｗｎの厚みのプラスチックまたはエラストー
マ材料よりなる薄い封包体４ａよりなり、この封包体に
は水、ワセリンまたはシリコン油などの液５が充填され
る。
好ましくは、中心芯体４の重心はクラブヘッドの重心に
おかれている。
値上の製造方法のいずれもが第３図のクラブヘッドの製
造に応用できる。
箸１方法について述べると、穴８ａは外殻体３の底面に
あけられ、中心芯１本４を入れさせるだけの寸法を備え
ている。次に外殻は上下を逆にして、基材料を外殻坏内
へ穴８ａから注入する。次に鋳込材料が外殻体の約半分
位光項されると中心芯体を外殻棒内へ落下する。そうす
るとこの睨込工捏は外殻体が完全に′：ｇ、填されるま
で続くが、この開基材料の粘度によって中心芯体が浮き
上がるのが防止されている。芯体が固化すると、穴８ａ
は金属の基礎板１ｏで密封される。
第２のヤ！！造方法では、中心芯体４は鋳込みぞから３
！ｆｉ型内に落されることになっている。

分的横断面図、第２図は第１図のゴルフクラブヘッドの
側面図、第３図はゴ５２実鰺例のゴルフクラブヘッドの

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、合成ゴムおよび天然ゴムから選ばれた側斜の成Ｊ（
    ぞ芯体と、該芯体のほぼ全面を密に取囲む外殻で、ポリ
    カーボネート、ポリアミドおよびポリブチレン・テレフ
    タレートの群から選ばれ少なくともショーアＤの砂さを
    有する熱可塑性重合体材料で造られた外６とよりなるゴ
    ルフクラブのヘッド。 ２、前記芯体内に埋設され、液で完全に充たされたプラ
    スチック側斜の密封された封包体よりなる特許請求の範
    囲第１項に記１氏のゴルフクラブのヘッド。 ３、　　ｍ記成形心棒の利料が閏込みポリウレタンであ
    る特許ｆｆ１Ｖ求の範囲第１項または２項に記載のゴル
    フクラブのヘッド。 ４、　１′ＩＩＪ記中心芯体がほぼ球杉である。；守許
    績求の範囲第２項に記載のゴルフクラブのヘッド。 ５、　　ｆｌＪ記中心芯体の重心がゴルフクラブヘッド
    の重心におかれた特許請求の範囲２項に記載のゴルフク
    ラブヘッド。
