    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. クランク軸に連係される駆動スプロケットと動弁カム軸
    に連係される被動スプロケットとの間に懸回されるカム
    チェーンの弛み側外方に、テンショナ一本体が、その駆
    動スプロケット側端部を回動可能に軸支され前記カムチ
    ェーン側へのみ移動可能に押圧されて前記カムチェーン
    に沿って配設されるチェーンテンショナー装置において
    、前記被動スプロケットと前記テンショナ一本体の自由
    端部との間に、揺動可能な補助ガイドを設け、付勢部材
    により前記補助ガイドを付勢して前記カムチェーンに当
    接させて該カムチェーンを圧接支持したことを特徴とす
    るチェーンテンショナー装置。
