Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time and to simplify the processing with a facsimile device by having an interlocking operation between the facsimile device and a copying device and processing collectively the desired number of copy sheets at the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:A mark showing the number of copy sheets is put on a transmission original 2 and received and recorded on the recording paper 6 in the form of a mark 30a together with the contents of the original. A sensor 31 is provided at the prescribed position within a copying device 10 to read the number of copy sheets from the mark 30a. A facsimile device 1 produces the transmitted pictures on the paper 6 and sends them to the device 10. The device 10 reads the mark 30a on the paper through the sensor 31 and copies automatically the desired number of sheets with the paper 6 used as an original based on the detection signal of the sensor 31.
