DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for continuous dyeing of a fabric by steaming and dyeing a long fabric impregnated with a dye or coated with a print. Conventional methods for continuously coloring (dying) long lengths of fabric include, for example, continuous dyeing using a thermal reaction chamber such as Purple Range (trade name) developed by the present inventor or a high-pressure steamer. However, in the conventional continuous dyeing method for long fabrics, plain dyeing involves first immersing the fabric to be dyed in a dye solution in a dye bath installed outside the moist heat reaction chamber. After passing through the liquid-impregnated fabric and squeezing out the excess liquid from the liquid-impregnated fabric with a squeezing roll, a sump is placed in the middle to prevent the liquid impregnated into the fabric from adhering to the moist heat reaction chamber seal roll or guide roll. Perform drying,
Next, the fabric is supplied into a moist heat reaction chamber and steamed to fix the dye to the hanger. In addition, in print dyeing, the dye is directly heated to the wet heat reaction chamber. Supplied into the reaction chamber and steamed,
It was used to fix dyes on fabrics.

However, in such conventional dyeing methods, plain dyeing,
In any case of print dyeing, since the dye is directly fed into a steamer that maintains high humidity, the room-temperature fabric in which the dye is half-dried is coated with polyacid on the surface of the fabric immediately after being fed into the steamer. There were problems such as moisture adhering to the surface of the fabric, causing the half-dried dye coated on the surface of the fabric to fall off along with the large amount of moisture, or the printed pattern to smudge and become unclear. In other words, if a fabric at room temperature is suddenly fed into a high-temperature, high-humidity steamer that is heated to, for example, close to 100 degrees Celsius, the temperature difference between the fabric and the steamer is large, so that the surface of the fabric with a lower temperature is contains a large amount of water (iAK
), the above-mentioned problems occur.

The present invention was made to solve this problem, and involves heating a fabric coated and impregnated with a dye under low humidity and high temperature, and then transferring it to a high humidity and high temperature steamer can without lowering the temperature of the heated fabric. It is intended to be applied to fabrics by supplying it into the body and subjecting it to moist heat treatment.

Therefore, according to this dyeing method and apparatus, the dye coated fabric is heated under low humidity and high temperature before being fed into the steamer can, so that a large amount of dew does not adhere to the fabric surface. The half-dried dye on the fabric surface is heated without falling off. By supplying the fabric thus heated into the steamer can and steaming it, the fabric is not bound to the fabric and is steamed only by the degree of immersion inside the steamer can, thereby effectively fixing the dye to the fabric. The dyeing is clear and of good quality.

Example 1 In FIG. 1, this example is an example in which plain dyeing is carried out, and numeral 1 is a heat treatment chamber formed in an inverted U-shape. A fabric inlet 2a and a fabric outlet 2b are formed in parallel, and an exhaust port 3 is formed at the top of the heat treatment chamber 1. 4 is a reservoir liquid 14 for impregnating the fabric 5 to be provided in the heat treatment chamber 1 with an appropriate dye solution; 6 is a reservoir roll for adjusting the liquid content of the dye solution 0 7a and 7b The heaters 7a and 7b are placed in the vicinity of the fabric inlet 2a in the heat treatment chamber 1 on the left and right sides across the fabric transfer path, and these heaters 7a and 7b are heated by infrared heat using electric heat or gas burners.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a steamer can body having an inlet port communicating with the fabric outlet 2b of the heat treatment chamber 1. Inside the steamer can body 8, a cloth spreading guide roll 9 is provided which guides and transports the cloth in a meandering manner while spreading it in the width direction. , a steam supply nozzle 10 and a steam application nozzle 11 are provided for applying steam to the fabric guided and transferred by this spreading guide roll 9. To explain its operation, first, the fabric 5 is traced into the liquid tank 4 and impregnated with the dye liquid, and then the liquid content is adjusted by the squeezing roll 6 and then fed into the heat treatment chamber 1. The liquid-containing fabric supplied into the heat treatment chamber 1 receives radiant heat from the heaters 7a, 7b and is heated to, for example, nearly 100°C.
Since the inside is kept in a relatively dry heat state, the fabric 5 is heated without any dew adhering to it. The fabric heated in this way is supplied into the steamer can 8 without causing a temperature drop due to contact with the outside air temperature, so that the fabric is steamed without abnormal dew adhering to the surface of the fabric, and the steaming As the process progresses, the dyeing is effectively removed. Therefore, the good dyeing property without causing the dye to fall off has the effect of making plain dyeing possible.

Example 2 In FIG. 2, this example is an example of dyeing a fabric 5' coated with a dye print, and a fabric inlet 2a provided below a vertical heat treatment chamber 1' has a Spray 4 to add appropriate moisture or auxiliary agent to the printed fabric
In the heat treatment chamber 1' near the fabric inlet, heaters 7a' and 7b' using gas burners are disposed opposite to each other on the left and right with the fabric passage in between. Other structures are the same as those of the previous embodiment, so the same reference numerals are given.

Therefore, in this embodiment, the fabric 5' on which the dye is printed
After the fabric is rehydrated by spray 4' to the extent that the dye does not fall off, the fabric is supplied into heat treatment chamber 1' and heated by heaters 7a/7b'. The fabric is heated rapidly, for example to close to 100° C., and the dyeing reaction still begins to occur due to the moisture from the spray. Next, since this heated fabric is supplied into the steamer can 8 without causing a temperature drop due to contact with the outside temperature, the fabric is steamed without any strange mist appearing on the surface of the fabric. As the steaming progresses, effective dyeing is achieved. Therefore, there is an effect that print dyeing with good dyeing properties can be performed without causing the dye to fall off or the pattern to become unclear.

As described above, the present invention involves heating a cloth coated and impregnated with a dye at a high temperature with low humidity, and then feeding the heated cloth into a steamer can of high humidity and high temperature without lowering the temperature to perform heat generation treatment. Since the fabric coated and impregnated with dye is heated by dry heat to near the temperature of the steamer can before being fed into the steamer can, this heated fabric is then steamed, so that the dye does not fall off. When the fabric is in a state where it is easy to dye, a large amount of dew does not adhere to the fabric, and therefore, the falling off or bleeding of the dye is eliminated, and continuous dyeing with clear color and good quality can be achieved.
