Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリングシャフトを、車体の一部に取付けたコラム
    チューブに回転可能に支持したロアシャフトとこのロア
    シャフトの上端に軸方向へ伸縮可能に嵌挿されてその上
    端部にステアリングホイールを取付けたアッパシャフト
    により構成して、こ−れら両シャフト間にこれら両シャ
    フトを解除可能に係合させるロック機構を設けるととも
    に、前記両シャフトに前記アッパシャフトが縮小方向へ
    所定量移動したとき互に当接して同アッパシャフトのそ
    れ以上の移動を規制する一対のストッパを設けてなり、
    前記ロック機構の操作により前記両シャフトの保合を解
    除し前記アッパシャフトを伸縮させて前記ステアリング
    ホイールの位置を軸方向に調整するようにしたテレスコ
    ピック型ステアリング装置において、前記両ストッパ間
    における前記両シャフトのいずれか一方の外周に筒状の
    緩衝部材を配設するとともに、この緩衝部材の一端側内
    孔を開口端に向って漸次拡間するテーパ状に形成し、か
    つ前記緩衝部材の一端側に位置する前記ストッパ側に前
    記緩衝部材のテーパ状内孔に対向してこれと嵌合可能な
    テーパ状突起部を形成したことを特徴とするテレスコピ
    ック型ステアリング装置。
