    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 頂部に燃焼室を形成するキャビティが凹設されたピスト
    ンを有する直接噴射式ディーゼルエンジンにおいて、上
    記キャビティは開口部が底部に対してキャビティ軸心方
    向に向って突出傾斜するスキッシュリップ形状に形成さ
    れており、かつ排気ポート近傍に対応する上記キャビテ
    ィのリップ角は他の部分のリップ角よりも大きくなるよ
    うに設定されていることを特徴とする直接噴射式ディー
    ゼルエンジンの燃焼室。
