示す。第3図イはステアリングコラムにセンサを組みつ
ける前の状態の縦断側面図を示し、口、ハは心合せ用治
具によるセンサとディスクの心合せ過程での縦断側面図
を示し、二は心合せ終了時を示す。第4図はセンサをデ
ィスクのケースに挿入した時のセンサとディスクとの位

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. コラムチューブ内にステアリングシャフトが同軸に挿入
    され、かつ回動可能に支持されている自動車のステアリ
    ングコラムにおいて、前記ステアリングシャフトに嵌着
    した、対向する側壁を有する断面溝型のケースと、この
    ケースの両側壁間の中心部においてケースの溝底面に嵌
    着したリング状のディスクと、コラムチューブに取り付
    は可能のセンサ本体とこのセンサ本体に取りつけた同厚
    の平行する発光素子及・び受光素子とを有し画素子間に
    は溝部が形成されているセンサと、この画素子間の溝部
    の中心面を前記ディスクの面に心合せする治具とからな
    り、前記センサ本体の外面的ま前記画素子に平行な底面
    を有する2個の溝が設けられ、この2個の溝の底面間の
    距離は前記ケースの両側壁の外面間の距離にほぼ等しく
    、前記治具はセンサの2つの溝の底面及びケースの両側
    壁の外面を挾む2個の平行する脚片を有し、前記治具に
    よる前記心合せの前においては発光素子及び受光素子は
    ともにディスクに接触せず、又心合せによりセンサの発
    光素子及び受光素子はディスクに対しほぼ対称に位置し
    てケースの側壁とディスクとの間に遊挿されるように、
    発光素子および受光素子の肉厚、画素子間の溝部の幅及
    びケースの両側壁内面とディスク間の寸法が設定され、
    さらに −発光素子、受光素子間の溝部の深さがディス
    クの高さより大きく設定されていることを特徴とする自
    動車のステアリングセンサ。
