The method of the invention allows labels to be marked with fully readable marks. The legibility of print is independent of the object's transparency. Since the application of the printing ink takes place from the back side of the label, there is no risk of the print disappearing during further processing of the label, ie when brushing and applying the label, following direct transfer of the label to the object.
