Abstract

PURPOSE:To use wide width paper to attain cost reduction, by preventing a coating liquid from penetrating in a part to be masked while recovering masking paper after spraying is completed. CONSTITUTION:Masking papers 16, 17 each having a width larger than the length in the supply direction of a material 26 to e coated are supplied from a direction at a right angle to the supply direction of said material 26 to be coated and sharply folded by wedge shaped blocks 24, 25 to form lines while the material 26 to be coated is raised by a press apparatus 27. After a part to be masked is protected so as not to receive the penetration of a coating liquid, said coating liquid is sprayed and, after spraying is completed, the material 26 to be coated is lowered and recovered after separated from the masking papers 16, 17.

Structure of the conventional example and its problems In the conventional coating apparatus, as the specific structure is shown in Figs. In order to prevent this, while the printed circuit board 2 is being conveyed by the intermittent supply device 3, the adhesive tapes 6 and 7 sent out from the supply devices 4 and 6 are applied continuously via the roll 8, and the coping liquid is applied. Spraying is performed by forming a protective film 10 on the printed circuit board 2 using a device (for example, a spray gun) 9, and then using a curing furnace 11.
The protective film 10 is cured by being passed through a recovery device 13. The adhesive tape 6.7 is peeled off via the roll 12.
A method of winding it up by 14 was adopted.

However, in the above method, the cost increases because the adhesive tape 6.7 is expensive, and the adhesive tape 6.7 has a narrow width that matches the width of the masking part in the direction perpendicular to the supply direction of the material to be coated. Therefore, when peeling off the printed circuit board 2, the adhesive tape 6.7 may be cut, making process quality control difficult.

Structure of the Invention The present invention provides a paper supply device and recovery device for supplying a coating liquid to a material to be coated, a guide roll for guiding the traveling of the masking paper, a wedge-shaped block for bending the masking paper into an acute angle, and the wedge-shaped block. It consists of a device that presses the material to be coated through masking paper and a device that supplies the material to be coated intermittently. A masking paper with a width greater than its length is supplied, and is bent into an acute angle with a wedge-shaped block to form a line. For pressing, the material to be coated is raised by a device and the boundary line of the masked area and the wedge-shaped By aligning and holding the block with the line formed by the masking paper, the coating liquid is sprayed after protecting the masked area from infiltration. The structure is repeated in that the masking paper is lowered and separated from the masking paper, and then the masking paper is rolled up several millimeters by a recovery device, which allows the use of inexpensive paper, resulting in a significant improvement in cost. DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6. Since paper breaks do not occur, there is no need for process quality control.

In the above configuration, when the material to be coated 26 is fed to the coating position by the intermittent supply device 28, the pressing device 27 ascends to apply the material to be coated 26 through the masking papers 16 and 17 to the wedge-shaped block 24.
Q At this time, tension adjustment devices 29 and 30 are installed in each of the masking paper supply devices 16 and 17, and appropriate tension is applied to the masking paper supply and winding and collection systems to perform masking. The paper 16.17 is held so that it does not become bulky.

In this state, the coating liquid is sprayed by the device 15 to form a protective film of coating 'tj, 31 on the surface of the material to be coated 260, but the traverse device 32 is driven according to the shape of the material to be coated to prevent uneven coating. To prevent. The coating process is thus completed, and the material to be coated 26 is separated from the masking paper 16 and 17 by lowering the pressing device 2, and returns to the position where it was fed by the intermittent feeding device 2 to proceed to the next process. At the same time, the masking paper 16.17i is rolled up several millimeters by each drive source 33.34 of the collecting device 20.21, and then the masking paper 1 of the material to be coated 26 is supplied to the coating position.
