Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide effective use of a surging energy absorption device throughout a year by inserting and drawing out a back plate at the rear open part and changing over from a position to receive surges in one direction to another position to receive surges in the opposite direction or vice versa according to the condition of surging. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating plate 12 for absorption of surging energy is installed in the middle part of a caison 10, and through its rotary shaft 13 the oscillator 12 moves in linkage with an oil pressure generator 14 installed at the caison 10. At both open parts 11A, 11B are installed back plates 16A, 16B, which can be inserted and drawn out under guidance of grooves 15A, 15B formed vertieally in the caison 10, where insertion and drawing-out is operated by oil- hydraulic cylinder devices 17A, 17B, which can be changed over in accordance with the condition of surging. Thus the surging energy can be absorbed effectively.

Detailed Description of the Invention The present invention converts wave energy into the swinging of a pendulum plate, operates a hydraulic pressure generator by the swinging force of the pendulum plate, and uses the generated hydraulic pressure to generate electricity and drive various devices. This invention relates to an energy absorption device.

A conventional example is shown in FIG. In other words, (1) is a caisson with an open part (2) only on the front, and a back plate (3) on the rear side.
is integrally formed. (4) is a pendulum plate for absorbing wave energy arranged in the middle part of the caisson (1), and the hydraulic pressure generating device ( 6).

A wave energy absorbing device with such a configuration absorbs waves coming from one side (
7), for example, as shown in Figure 2, only receive high waves in the direction in which they occur, that is, winter waves (
It is installed on an island (8) etc. to receive only 7a). Therefore, waves in the opposite direction, that is, summer waves (7b), could not be received at all, and it could not be used effectively all year round.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a caisson with open front and rear surfaces, and a pendulum plate for absorbing wave energy that is linked to a hydraulic pressure generator is disposed in the middle of the caisson.
A removable back plate is provided in each of the open portions of the caisson. According to this configuration of the present invention, there is a posture in which the back plate of the front opening part is pulled out and a back plate of the rear opening part is inserted, which receives waves, and a posture in which the back plate of the front opening part is inserted and the back plate of the rear opening part is inserted. In the posture of receiving waves in the opposite direction from which the board was cooked,
This means that it can be switched depending on the wave conditions.
