に融着すべき継手を保持する継手クランプ装置とを該両
者間に延びる一対の平行案内棒に沿って相対的に接近離
反可能に対設せしめ、パイプと継手との融着面をヒータ
により所定の加圧力で加熱溶融した後にこれら溶融面ど
うしを所定の加圧力で圧着することによりパイプに継手
を融着するパイプ融着機において、上記パイプクランプ
装置と継手クランプ装置とに該両者が所定位置まで接近
したときに互に当接する一対のばね付勢接触子を同一直
線上で向き合うように対設せしめると共に、上記両液触
子のばね力を互に異ならしめてそのばね力の弱い方の接
触子が他方の接触子により所定量抑圧後退せしめられた
ときに作動せしめられるスイッチ手段を設け、該スイッ
チ手段からの信号に応動するアクチュエータにより作動
せしめられるロック手段を両クランプ装置の相対運動路
内に出没自在に設けたことを特徴とするパーイブ融着機
