Claims (1)
ランプ半体部から構成される管継手クランプ装置と、該
管継手クランプ装置によってクランプされる管継手を融
着すべき管を保持する管クランプ装置とを案内棒により
相互に接近離反可能に連結してこれらクランプ装置の一
方を他方に向って動かすことにより管継手を管に押し付
け、融−着し得るようにした管継手融着機において、上
記管継手クランプ装置の締付トルクを制御するトルク締
付装置は管継手クランプ装置の可動クランプ半休部との
枢着点と対向する位置において固定クランプ半休部に連
結されるクランプボルトと、該クランプボルトに螺合せ
しめられかつ可動クランプ半休部に係止して両クランプ
半休部を締結するクランプボルト締付部材と、該クラン
プボルト締付部材上に取付けられてこれを回転作動せし
めるクランプノブとを有し、上記クランプボルト締付部
材とクランプノブとの間にはクランプボルト締付部材に
所定値以上の負荷が作用したときのみクランプボルト締
付部材へのクランプノブの回転伝達を遮断する一定トル
ク伝達機構が介在せしめられ、該一定トルク伝達機構は
クランプノブとクランプボルト締付部材との一方に設け
られるばね付勢押圧子と他方に設けられる対応凹溝とに
よって形成されることを特徴とする管継手融着機のトル
