These methods kill pests by killing or trapping insects, and can prevent damage such as feeding damage and blood sucking caused by the pests to some extent, but they do not prevent damage caused by insects, such as inside furniture in kitchens, livestock sheds, water sheds, evening baths, etc. It is not possible to avoid the flying, approaching, contact, invasion, contamination, etc. of pests to the human body, agricultural crops, and other animals and plants, and a sufficient exterminating effect cannot be achieved. Moreover, in the above method, it is necessary to treat the pests after killing or catching them, and it is particularly difficult to dispose of pests that die after entering furniture, etc., and is rather a source of contamination. On the other hand, as a pest extermination method that can prevent the above-mentioned pests from flying or invading, and of course does not require any treatment for living or dead, there is a method using a pest repellent, and recently it has a pest repellent effect that can be used in the above method. Various substances are being researched, developed and proposed.

。However, none of the various substances proposed above can exhibit a sufficiently satisfactory pest repellent effect, and only a few substances, including N,N-diethyl-mettatoluamide, can be used as sprays, It is only used as a repellent for blood-sucking insect pests such as mosquitoes, snails, pears, and stable flies in the form of 0-shoku, creams, and the like.

By applying it to animals, plants, etc., it is possible to reliably prevent pests from flying into, approaching, contacting, invading, etc., and to prevent pests from inhabiting the above-mentioned specific areas. Feeding damage, bites, barking, etc. of animals and plants, and contamination can be effectively avoided. In particular, the active ingredient compound of the pest repellent composition of the present invention does not have a specific odor or an unpleasant odor, unlike N,N-diethyl-mettatoluamide, etc., which are currently frequently used. It is stable against temperatures and temperatures, and there is no risk of coloring, so it is suitable for application directly to the human body or around the human body, and does not cause any discomfort at all.

The insect repellent material is used as a film or sheet having pest repellent properties, a furniture cover, etc. by utilizing the characteristics of its base material. Here, examples of the base material include polyethylene resin, polypropylene resin,
Synthetic resin sheets such as suis, polyvinyl chloride, polychlorinated nylide υ, polyester, animal and vegetable or inorganic fiber sheets (paper, cloth, non-woven fabric, leather J'4!1, etc.), secondary synthetic resins, etc. Mixed sheet or blended fabric of inorganic fiber R-spread powder, blended fabric or nonwoven fabric of the above synthetic resin and animal and plant fibers, foil or film of metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, zinc, etc., and laminated sheet of the above various sheets can be exemplified. Further, as the base material, natural wood used for furniture members, such as wood, beshirecedar, oak, etc., and molded plastics, such as chlorinated vinyl resin, chlorinated polyester, polyethylene resin, polypropylene resin, etc., can also be effectively used. The means for retaining the pest repellent composition of the present invention on the secondary substrate is not particularly limited, and may be carried out, for example, by coating, impregnating, dropping, kneading, or the like. The amount retained is also not particularly limited and can be determined as appropriate; however, when impregnating furniture members etc., it is preferable to set the amount up to the saturated impregnated amount.

The pest repellent carpet is prepared by preparing a conventional carpet consisting of, for example, a pile, a first base fabric, a bulk agent, and a second base fabric, and then applying the pest repellent of the present invention in the form of a liquid on the front and/or back side of the carpet. The pest repellent composition of the present invention may be applied by spraying, or the pest repellent composition of the present invention may be kneaded into at least one of the pile, the first base fabric, and the second base fabric prior to the production of the carpet. Alternatively, the pest repellent composition of the present invention may be mixed into a backing agent and used to prepare a carpet using a pre-coat method or a jute pack method. In the above, the pre-coat method means that a backing agent is applied in advance to fix the pile on the first base fabric, and then a backing agent is further applied to this treated area, and the second base fabric is bonded. It refers to the method of In addition, the jute pack method is a first base fabric with pile woven into it.
A method of applying a jig agent and adhering the second base fabric. The pest repellent carpet prepared as described above is usually preferably about 5 to 2 cm per square meter of carpet.
It is preferable to retain 0Of of the active ingredient compound, thereby sufficiently achieving the desired effect.
