ケーブル接続部の最外袋に防蟻剤を配合した防食テープ
を施すことは、防蟻性をより完全にするために有効であ

(発明の開示) 本発明者らは、種々研究の結果、防蟻効果に優れ、特に
高温時における熱分解性が低い特定の有機リノ剤を、電

VCに配合した場合、ブルーミング等を生じないことを
見出し、この知見に基づいて本発明である防蟻性を有す
る防食テープを完成した。即ち、本発明はゴム又はプラ
スチックに、ビス、・(2,3,3,3−テトラクロロ
プロピル)エーテルを有効成分として含有してなること
を特徴とする防食テープである。

り部及び端末部は金属テープ付粘着テープで完全にシー
ルし、フィールドテストに供した。フィールドテストは
3年間行ない、第3表に示す結果を得た。

入しても防蟻効果は期待できない。

た。この結果は第5表に示す通りである。

もっともカレンダー加工時の材料温度を極力低下させる
ことにより、その残存率の向上はある程度期待できるが

あることから、カレンダーロール回転数を低下せざるを
得す、カレンダー速度の低下を来し、カレンダー加工時
間の増加、即ち、カレンダー加工費用の増大は避けられ
ない。他方、本化合物を添加したpvc  コンパウン
ドは、その殆どが残存しており、この点からも極めて有
効な防蟻剤であることが分る。

ダー加工時においても防蟻剤の揮散および分解が極めて
