Abstract

PURPOSE:The titled hair tonic having common hair breeding effect, effective for remedying falling-out of hair caused by the side effect of drug, etc., comprising minoxidil(2,4-diamino-6-piperidinopyrimidine-3-oxide) as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A hair tonic obtained by 1-10g minoxidil in 1l solvent such as an alcohol, water, etc., followed by adding various kinds of vitamins, a stimulating agent, etc., to the solution. This hair tonic is used in the state of lotion type, ointment, cream, etc. depending upon the part for use, and has no side effect such as flare, anthema, etc. caused by application.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the application of known compounds to new pharmaceutical uses. As social institutions have become more complex in recent years, hair loss due to congenital constitution, stress, or side effects of medicines is increasing. The object of the present application is to provide a hair growth treatment agent that is effective not only for hair growth for healthy people's hair but also for the treatment of such hair loss.

The present invention was completed based on the discovery that it has an excellent hair-nourishing effect. Minoxidil is a white powder substance whose chemical name is 2,4-diamino-6-biperidinopyrimidine-3-oxide (molecular weight 209.25), and is soluble in alcohols such as propylene glycol and ethanol, and is soluble in water. It also dissolves to about 2 mg/- at room temperature. Minoxidil can be dissolved in an appropriate solvent such as those mentioned above, added with various existing vitamins or scalp stimulants, and applied directly to the hair roots to exert its hair growth promoting and hair growth effects. It goes without saying that when used as a drug or veterinary medicine, other appropriate dosage forms such as ointments and creams may be used in addition to the rotan type, depending on the intended use. [Test Example 1] Effect of Kunoxidil-containing hair tonic on mouse width.

The backs and buttocks of BDP, male mice (6 exercises, average 30g) were shaved with a safety razor. Three mice each were divided into a main application group and a control group. The main application group was treated with minoxidil solution twice a day, morning and evening, from the next day. A solution of 2 volumes of ethanol + 1 volume of glycerin and 1 volume of distilled water was similarly applied to the control group, and three hairs were periodically removed from each mouse and the length was measured.

Table 1 shows the hair growth situation as determined by visual observation on the 14th day after hair pricking, and the average value of the 9 hairs that were pulled out.

Table 1 also shows photos of one mouse each in the minoxidil treatment group and the control group on the day of the first hair loss and 14 days later as reference photo 1.

[Test Example 2] Effect of minoxidil-containing hair tonic on human glandular hair.

[Test Example 3] Effect of minoxidil solution application on human face pressure.

A minoxidil solution was applied to the entire surface of one lower leg below the knee joint to -P on a 44-year-old man, a 37-year-old woman, a 14-year-old woman, and a 12-year-old man, and the blood pressure before and after application was measured.

The results are shown in Table 3, and no significant drop in blood pressure was observed due to the application of minoxidil.
