Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily detect the disconnection of a printed pattern by connecting printed patterns on a print-circuit board for a watch with unnecessary patterns, and after electrolytic plating, cutting off the external shape. CONSTITUTION:A print-circuit board 12 is not separated from a surface board 10 and printed patterns 12a-12f are formed on the print-circuit board 12. These printed patterns 12a-12f are connected by unnecessary patterns 13-16 so that the whole patterns are charged. Subsequently electrolytic plating is applied to the printed patterns 12a-12f under said condition. If there is a disconnected part A on the printed pattern 12f, the color of the disconnected pattern is differ from that of other connected printed patterns, easily detecting the disconnection of these printed patterns.

Next, in this state, electrolytic plating is applied to the printed patterns 12a to 12f. At this time, if there is a disconnection point A on the printed pattern 12f as shown in FIG. 2, the portion 12f'' beyond the disconnection point A will not be charged. Therefore, the electrolytic plating will not be applied to the 12f' portion, and no electroplating will occur. Electrolytic plating is applied to the printed pattern. As a result, a color difference occurs between the portion 12f' beyond the disconnection point A and the other printed patterns, and this color difference causes the grid/grid pattern to change. It is possible to easily identify the presence or absence of a disconnection.
