Abstract

PURPOSE:To recover chips through absorbing function and remove the chips without interrupting working operation by providing a tool holder having the chip absorbing function on or near a spindle beforehand. CONSTITUTION:A pin 8 at the tool holder 2 side is located by a block 9 and a tool holder 2 is attached to a spindle 1. When compressed air is sent from portion A under such condition, it flows in a pipe path of a tool along arrows B, C, D and is discharged from E to the atmosphere. Then, chips are absorbed from an end of a nozzle 4 by negative pressure of the air passing through portion D to be discharged from portion E. In the case of a deep hole, compressed air branched from portion C is blasted from an auxiliary nozzle 5 mounted near an end of a nozzle 4 to the interior of said deep hole through a tube 6 and , so that chips curled up are absorbed through the nozzle 4.

Conventionally, chips generated during machining are cleaned at the end of the work, and especially in cases such as tapping and reaming, in order to prevent damage to the tool, the machine must be cleaned after drilling the pilot hole even though it is in the middle of machining. Do not resume operation after temporarily stopping the machine and removing the chips manually! +h Idiot I-1 or red?

According to this invention, the chip suction function can be attached to the main spindle as a tool holder, depending on the shape of the machine tool and its use, or it can be installed in advance near the main spindle. (J) Also, since the chips can be collected by suction and collected or discharged to any desired location, post-processing is also easier, unlike the conventional case where compressed air is sprayed onto the chips to scatter them.

When the tool holder 2 is attached to the spindle 1, the tool holder side pin 8 is positioned in advance on a block 9 installed in a non-rotating portion near the spindle.

In this state, when compressed air is sent from part A, the compressed air flows along the arrows in the pipe line inside the tool to B, C, and D, and is discharged from E into the atmosphere. At this time, the negative pressure of the air passing through section D is used to suck up the chips from the tip of the nozzle 4 and discharge them (E).

In the case of a deep hole, compressed air branched from e is blown into the deep hole through a tube 6 from an auxiliary nozzle 5 attached near the tip of the nozzle 4, and the chips rolled up are sucked up from the nozzle 4.

Therefore, by attaching the tool holder shown in Figure 1 to the main spindle and sequentially approaching the pilot hole machining section of the tap/reamer and the parts that require removal of partition debris, it becomes possible to suck out the chips. . Further, the chip discharge direction E can be arbitrarily determined according to the shape of the machine, and even when the purpose is to accumulate chips, it can be handled by attaching a storage bag-like object.

As explained above, this invention eliminates the waste of temporarily stopping machining and manually cleaning due to problems with chip disposal, and further improves the automatic operation function.
