Welding (also known as seam welding), generally known as mash seam welding
This invention relates to a matshu seam welding device which thins the thickness of the overlapping part by plastic deformation and approaches the thickness of the original plate. In particular, this invention involves a pair of roller type electrodes and By arranging rolling rolls to reduce the thickness of the pair of metal strips to be welded before seam welding with the roller type electrode, the seam welding speed can be shortened and the scrap metal placed after the roller type electrode can be reduced. The present invention aims to provide a mash seam welding device [7] in which the welding device is made smaller by reducing the cutting resistance of the cutting device.

A pair of scrap parts (8) (9) of a pair of metal strips (a+ (4)) are clamped by two sets of clampers (1) (2) on the exit side and the inlet side and seam welded by a pair of roller type electrodes (5).
) is cut by a cutting device (6) disposed downstream of the roller type electrode (5).
According to the conventional matshu seam welding device having such a configuration, not only the welding speed is extremely slow due to the thick plate thickness of the metal IJ tubes (3) and (4), but also the cutting device for cutting the scrap after welding. Since the cutting resistance caused by (6) is large, there is a drawback that the welding device becomes large together with the cutting device (6) as well as the conveying device for moving the thick and heavy metal strips (3) and (4).

Matsushi seam welding equipment is designed to shorten the seam welding speed by reducing the plate thickness, and to reduce the cutting resistance of the scrap section cutting device placed after the roller type electrode, thereby reducing the size of the welding equipment. This is what we are trying to provide.

This is provided to reduce the thickness of the metal strips (3) and (4) to a predetermined thickness, and a seam welded metal strip (3) and (4) is provided after the roller type electrode (5). The provision of a cutting device (6) for cutting the scrap portion (81 (9)) of the metal strips (3) (4) is similar to the conventional one.
