Dirty sand recovered from sewage is a mixture of inorganic sand, fine sand, organic garbage, etc., and the mixing ratio is not constant and usually tends to form lumps.

The present invention utilizes the upward flow generated in the cleaning separation and classification tank without using a device that forcibly stirs the dirty sand, etc. in such a state, and eliminates the sedimentation and interference of the input waste in the upward flow. The purpose is to perform separation and classification by utilizing collision with a plate, and will be explained below based on an embodiment shown in the drawings.

When dirty sand collected from sewage, etc. is fed continuously or intermittently into a separation/classification tank 2 by a dirty sand supply conveyor 1, the washing water supplied into this tank 2 from a water supply pipe 3 in the direction tangent to the sliding surface rotates. Therefore, the input waste sand is stirred in the tank, and the lumps are broken down and settled in the tank.

A hopper 4 is provided at the bottom of the separation and classification tank 2, and a water suction pipe 5 is provided with an open lower end that faces the hopper central opening 4a and generates an upward flow in the tank. 5, the relatively light particulate sand and garbage in the settled waste is sucked into the water suction pipe and discharged out of the tank, while heavier sand falls onto the hopper 4 at the bottom of the tank. Then, it traverses the hopper in a lower direction until it reaches the opening in the center, and falls further downward into the upward flow separation cylinder 6 from there.

This upward flow separation cylinder 6 is provided at the lower part of the hopper 4, and has a plurality of baffle plates 7, 7, which are alternately inclined on the inner surface thereof.
・As the sand falls into the cylinder, it slides over each baffle plate and collides with another baffle plate, causing the falling sand to be countered by the upward flow generated in the cylinder, so that the sand is agitated. The dust and fine particles contained therein are further separated, rise on the upward flow, and are sucked into the water suction pipe 5.

In this way, only the sand that has descended in the upward flow reaches the bottom of the separation and classification tank, and is transported to the scraping side by a conveying device 11 such as a screw conveyor installed at the bottom of this tank, and is then transported to the scraping side by a scraping device such as a bucket conveyor. The sand is scraped up by the upper device 12 and discharged to the outside of the tank via the washing sand discharge chute 13.

A water supply pipe 8 is provided at the bottom of the separation/classification tank, that is, a water supply pipe 8 is provided at the bottom of the tank to supply upward flow washing water to give an upward flow to the upflow separating cylinder below the hopper. At the same time, an overflow layer 9 for removing scum and an overflow pipe 10 connected to the layer are provided.

利点がある。
According to the present invention, when the sewage settles, it is bent and collided with the baffle plate and is agitated. Moreover, in places where there is no baffle plate, the sewage settles across the upward flow, so that the sludge settles in the sewage. Dust and fine particles rise in the upward flow and are separated and classified from sand, and only sand with a set particle size or larger sinks against the upward flow, so other power sources are not needed. It has the advantage that cleaning of dirty sand and separation/classification can be performed simply and reliably without using it.

1 Dirty sand, etc. recovered from sewage, etc. is charged into a separation and classification tank equipped with a hopper equipped with an upward flow separation tube at the bottom, and this input sludge is stirred with washing water supplied in a swirling flow. After decomposition, the sediment is allowed to settle in the tank, and the settled dirt is separated and classified by the upward flow generated by water absorption in the water suction pipe installed above the above-mentioned upward flow separation cylinder, and relatively lightweight dirt, etc. The suction pipe separates the relatively heavy sludge, and the unseparated relatively heavy sludge is then lowered into an upward flow separation cylinder and collides with an inclined baffle plate provided in the cylinder to further separate sludge. A method for separating and classifying polluted sand, etc., characterized by separating and classifying organic waste, fine particles, and heavy sand, etc. inside, and allowing only the heavy sand to settle at the bottom of the tank.
