Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a pickling agent with superior spreadability and rust removing power by adding fine particles of specified hydrophilic silicic anhydride to an acid or a mixed acid and by making them gel. CONSTITUTION:Since scale formed on stainless steel or Al during welding spoils the fine appearance, it is thoroughly removed by pickling with a pickling agent. The pickling agent is prepared by adding >=130g/l fine particles of hydrophilic silicic anhydride having polysiloxane bond to an acid such as hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid or a mixed acid thereof and by making them gel. The particle size of the fine particles is adjusted to <=20mum. When the pickling agent is used to remove scale formed on the weld zone of stainless steel or Al, the weld zone can be cleaned by the superior rust removing effect without causing dropping.

である。このような塗布型の酸洗剤はこれまでも市販さ
れているが、脱錆力が弱く、かつ垂れ落ちる欠陥があっ
た。
