Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the connection between desired first wiring layers by installing a connection conductor over an insulating layer, on which segment electrodes for a fluorescent display tube are provided, and connecting the said conductor to the said first wiring layers through-holes. CONSTITUTION:After wiring layers 2 made of aluminum or the like are formed on a glass base plate 1, the plate 1 is coated with an insulating layer 3 except for through-holes 4. Next, segment electrodes 5, which are connected to the first wiring layers 2 through the parts 4, are provided on the layer 3, and a phosphor 6 is applied on the electrodes 5. After that, a connection conductor 4 is provided over the insulating layer 3 so as to make the conductor 4 to be connected to layers 2 through the parts 4, thereby making an anodic base plate for a fluorescent display tube. Byh the means mentioned above, desired first wiring layers 2 can be connected to each other into a desired pattern, without changing the manufacturing process. Consequently, a complicate wiring is enabled easily.

However, the anode substrate of the conventional fluorescent display tube, especially the first
In the anode substrate shown in the figure, the first wiring layers 2 cannot be wired two-dimensionally, so the first wiring layers 2 cannot be connected in any pattern, and complicated wiring cannot be performed. Also, with the anode substrate shown in Fig. 2, the distribution! ! Since the number of layers must be two (multilayer), a high printing f# degree is required, the number of factories increases, and the manufacturing cost increases.1 Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to improve the manufacturing The present invention provides an anode substrate for a fluorescent display tube in which first wiring layers can be arbitrarily connected in a desired pattern without increasing the number of steps.
